Downside of what? Because he's 31? Dansby is a beast, he led the Dolphins in tackles last year despite playing with a torn bicep most of the season. He may not be on the up swing of his career but he's a player. Awesome

I'm with you on this OP, Patterson has had a handful of great games in his div 1 career, I know there is a ton of upside there but I think it's idiotic to draft a player based on potential at #8. That's what they did with Maybin and we know how that went. If you're drafting in the top 10 you need to go with a guy who has a much better body of work.
