Do you do anything but pick fights with people or look to prove people wrong? I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just curious to what else you're bringing to the table. Are you a Bills fan or a just a fan of being right about everything?
Jauron and Levy used to preach "high character" a lot of good that did us. I want my defense to be dirty, this isn't little league. Some of the best defenses ever were known to have dirty players, I can't think of one great defense that's otherwise.
Maybe you'd be a good one to ask Yolo, the recent signings on D scream versatility to me. I know these days that a lot of teams play a lot of nickel but I feel like we are just as equipped to play a 3-4 as we are to play a 4-3. You know defense better than me. What say you?
Like I stated in the other thread, CJ doesn't seem to fit what Marrone wants to do. If we could get a 2nd for him it'd be a win, maybe draft someone like Carlos Hyde. I feel like this offense is made for a RB that punishes defenses.
Teams these days are being built to stop the pass, put a team out there that punishes them on the ground and you'll have an advantage. Seattle is a perfect example of this. Whaley and co. Are moving ahead of the curve
He played for a rival, how was he supposed to treat Buffalo? Especially when he's in the most hated team in the division. I like his attitude and hope that it's contagious. I want 11 mean, angry men on defense. Good sports can go play in the CFL
I've been saying this, I think NO would be a perfect landing spot for him and maybe we can pick up a 2nd or 3rd. I really don't think Spiller fits what Marrones offense wants to do. It seems that this Offense is built for a down hill runner who can take a beating and hand out hits of their own. JMO
I absolutely LOVE what Whaley is doing. Looking at these moves it seems to me that we are still very versatile as far as our front goes. I'd like to hear from who understands defense more than me, with the players we have can't we line up in either a 4-3 or 3-4 without worrying if we have the personnel? Jboyst? Bandt? Anyone?
The Bills have made it clear that they understand where their weakness lies. ST and Run D were both atrocious and they are attacking those deficiencies right now. If they concentrate on receiving threats and OL help in the draft it shows that unlike previous regimes they aren't clueless to what everyone else is seeing. Loving this approach they're taking.
Like I've said multiple times, until Whaley prices he is inept I will trust his judgement. The Hughes and Thad trades along with the Lawson and Branch signings were good moves. Last years draft wasn't bad either and I think he had his hand in that a well.
I'm convinced you are not a Bills fan, you seem to be a fan of your own musings only. You have some skewed moral standard that you push on others who are successful. You're probably one of those people that wait outside of abortion clinics to spit on young girls.
I'm sure playing twice against SF, Sea and Arizonas killer pass rushes had nothing to do with all those pressures. Not making excuses but those numbers have to be skewed
Been a Spikes fan since he was at Florida. He was a man amongst boys there and I hoped the Bills were going to draft him for that exact reason. If he signs he'll instantly be one of my favorite players, I LOVE his attitude... Why do I want an attitude like his on Buff? Because eff everyone else, that's why.
