  1. There's a poster here who does a very good in depth TC report every year. I can't think of his name but he's been on point the last few years.
  2. Chandler had a couple of big drops last year that seem to slip people's minds a lot. The first NE game and the Falcons seem to come to mind. The same two games weary one points their finger at SJ for, bizarre.
  3. What I'm getting from that is that 15 of the 20 are homegrown talent drafted by Buffalo. A lot has been said over the last few years about our drafting inabilities but I think we've done a decent job. If Watkins lives up to the hype and we hit on Cyrus and/or Preston it'll be another successful draft. I'm a huge fan of Whaley but Marrone I'm not sold on. If we can't hit at least a .500 record with this young talented roster, Whaley will need to at the very least consider a change at the HC spot.
  4. I'll up the ante and blame Christian God. If only Christian God hadn't chosen Obama to be our president... (The God who watches over America is a Christian Right?) Ding Ding Ding I know you give and get a lot of sh-- but you are one of the few on here who actually make sense, curmudgeon or not.
  5. I don't know man, I don't have any answers. I'm just saying that no matter what he did people would dissect it and tear it down as fast as they can. People just can't wait to attack. There's plenty to dislike Obama for, but some are just chomping at the bit for the next sliver.
  6. I'm no BO fan but this is just nitpicking. When Benghazi happened everyone said the WH shouldn't have spoken until they had more facts. If BO speaks inaccurately then it's another WH bungle, if he doesn't then he must not care. I'm betting if he canceled his appearance and did a presser saying he was now focusing all attention on this then everyone would've said he's just distracting attention from the immigration disaster. I can't wait until this guy gets out of office so there's some new material for the next moron in dumb enough to take the Oval Office.
  7. I think that's most teams though, it's not just the Bills. It seems to me that the teams that go far in the playoffs are the ones that stayed relatively healthy throughout the entire season.
  8. He was my first rd pick last year ugh. I'm more inclined not to take him this year simply because of the crowded backfield. On top of that he'll lose reps in the red zone with Fred and Dixon. Fred on the other hand has a nose for the end zone when the Bills get close and will most likely put up more points because of that.
  9. I like the idea of switching up tempos, I do believe there is a time to slow the game down just as there is a time to speed things up. Keeping it dynamic gives the Bills an opportunity to have more control. I do think that that our new found depth is n advantage in the hurry up.
  10. Why are we crapping on the guy? A 7th rounder who put up good numbers, enjoyed playing here and was traded away instead of bolting when his contract was up like a lot of players have. Not saying you have to miss him but to start up a thread to crap on him? Save it for Dbags like Byrd. BTW I'm good w Stevie no longer on the team but I just don't understand all the hate the guy STILL gets.

  16. So the east is so bad that every team is a title contender? Interesting point of view.
  17. Agreed. I've gained a new respect for him. "My emotions were more mixed. It was easy to say, “OK, I don’t want to deal with these people ever again.” But then you think about the other side. What if I were a kid who looked up to an athlete, and that athlete made me want to do better in my own life, and then he left? How would I react? I’ve met with Dan, face-to-face, man-to-man. We’ve talked it out. Everybody makes mistakes. I’ve made mistakes as well. Who am I to hold a grudge" It's refreshing for an athlete, especially a superstar to reveal that point of view. It's a grow ups way of thinking, mature. All this "I wouldn't go back because of Gilbert's letter" is a bunch of male bravado BS. Good to see someone of Lebrons caliber rise above that.
  18. Yes I do live in Fl and I'm in a similar line of work that you were. My point was that the only way to "force" someone to get treated is through either the baker or marchman acts, not inferring that either is effective at all. Yes addiction/alcoholism is a sign of underlying issues and I hope that Gordon chooses to seek out help, however as you know- loss of money, family, fame or material things rarely has an effect on an addict. I have a gross amount of experience with this both personally and professionally. I truly believe if someone isn't letting you help them up then you help them down, accelerate their journey to the bottom. Cut Gordon, tell him what he needs to do to get his life back in order and let him prove he can do it on his own. There is a network of former players that understand this, that are trying to help players like Gordon, he won't be abandoned as long as he's doing SOMETHING to help himself. I know 4 current or former NFL players personally that are reaching out to players like Gordon but players like Gordon need to do ALL the work, not just some but ALL.
  19. I disagree unless the law steps in and they're baker acted or marchman acted there is always a choice.
