  1. The Colts will win, Peyton Manning just had an incredible performance against what is being reffered to as the "league's best defense" and on the road to add to it. Peyton will finally lead these guys into Foxborough and come away with the win. I hate these two teams BTW and I wish there was a way both could lose...
  2. He's a lot better than people give him credit for. He's not making the plays and yes he gets toasted every now and then, but it's becoming clear that McGee isn't the solution and it just goes to show how valuable Nate Clements really is to this team. Just ask yourself, as bad as this defense has been, where would we be without Clements this season?
  3. Good thing I picked the bye week in my pool...
  4. Losman won the job in preseason for a reason, and it wasn't even close. Holcomb was terrible in preseason when he went against number one defenses, he was bad last year when he went in there for some time. Nall is no different than Losman - he's unproven and hasn't done anything in his career so far, I don't even think he's had a career start yet, Losman has more experience than Nall. It's easy to complain about Losman and throw him under the bus, but you have to consider: is there another option that's better? On this team, no there isn't.
  5. Every week seems to be a make or break week for Losman.
  6. I've heard somewhere that McGahee runs better without a fullback, I know it's rare in the NFL to not use a fullback but we should be playing to McGahee's strengths...
  7. I actually like this plan a lot, what people are forgetting is that this is a very young team and it will be a lot better next season with the extra experience. Whitner could be a top notch strong safety by then and Ko Simpson could be a solid started. Kyle Williams and John McCargo will be able to step in and could be able to stop the run also maybe Hargrove will be a good fit. The only question mark is Losman, if he can step in and be a solid NFL quarterback, this team will win the division next season. I don't like this early talk of what to do in the offseason though, we're not even halfway through the season yet and our next two games are at home, we have a divisional game to get excited about on Sunday, we could be 4-4 after these next two games.
  8. I've noticed lately that people are starting to compare Willis to Thomas, I saw them mention it during the Lions game and then I see a few people on here saying "Not even close, Willis is terrible, we havn't had a great running back since Thomas." These two can not be compared at all, there's a huge difference and not in the style of their play, but in the offense around them. At Thomas' time the Bills had a hall of fame quarterback, outstanding receivers, top notch offensive line, and an incredible defense to go along with it. Thomas had one hell of a team around him. A lot of people bash Willis McGahee and they say he will never be as good as Thomas was, look at the team around him. He has a second year starter at quarterback and although he seems to be improving he's still inconsistant. The offensive line sucks and there's no doubt about it, these guys can not block, they havn't been opening holes all season. I'm not saying that McGahee is as good as Thomas was, nor am I saying that Thomas was a lot better than McGahee is. It's an interesting comparison nonetheless, and it's one that there's really no answer to. Just something to think about though, if Thomas was the running back in the offense the Bills have today, and McGahee was the running back in the early '90s, would the tables be turned?
  9. They both had INTs Crowell's was tipped though by a lineman I think his was a tougher one than Fletcher's.
  10. The game ball goes to JP Losman, without a doubt in my mind. Today we watched him make the transition from being a struggling young quarterback with no positive direction, to a clear starting caliber NFL quarterback. He was making his throws with precision, his decision making was perfect, he didn't make any mistakes and come on this Vikings defense is no joke, they have an outstanding secondary and pass rush. Another thing I love is that he was able to make something out of nothing on mroe than one occasion.
  11. And looking at the games we should and shouldn't win, we should be going 9-7, if we can upset the Jags at home we can go 10-6, pull off a road upset and we could go 11-5. Of course, that's being optimistic, we could very well lose a couple games we should be winning...
  12. The Jets look really good so far but Pennington is about due for another arm injury...
  13. Thanks for dropping by, looking forward to the game on Sunday!
  14. I think we have to keep it balanced in the second half, let's have a good balance of run and pass. Let's see some play action passes. Hey maybe McGee can return the kickoff for a touchdown right at the start of the half we could really use it.
  15. I'm not happy with some of the playcalling. On more than one occasion this game we have thrown the football on third and short, we have to run the ball on third and short there's so many options we could sneak it, give it to Shelton, or give it to McGahee, why do we throw it every time on third and short?
  16. it would also be nice if we tried moving forward and giving it to McGahee, maybe he could go up the middle and we could GAIN some yards. I like that thought much better than faking the handoff to McGahee then going back 10 yards and getting sacked. Of course going to the tight end would be great too, I'd love to see Everett in red zone situations.
  17. Then of course the following weekend the Stamps go to Toronto and the potent Argos defense makes Henry Burris look like Spergon Wynn. And Williams gets his second touchdown of the season
  18. The offense didn't score when it needed to I mean the first 3 times in the red zone they came away with only 2 field goals. The defense however was bad as well, it didn't get the job done. Didn't force any turnovers at all, let the Jets drive down the field when the Bills needed the 3 and out the most.
  19. Chad Pennington is looking very good now, but so what, the Superbowl isn't given out in September. He will seperate himself from the real quarterbacks and prove to be just another pretender.
  20. I would much rather have Losman than Pennington, or quite a few other quarterbacks for that matter. This guy has tremendous upside and he's shown flashes of brilliance, if he can just put the mental part together he could still become something special.
  21. The Bills once again just get screwed over. This time just as we get the onside kick and there's hope, it starts pouring rain out of nowhere, Losman can't throw and the Willis can't catch, and same old story, Bills just come up short. This reminds me of that claymation thing that everyone was talking about a while ago, the one where it's all cloudy and everyone is depressed, then the Bills get a fumble recovery and bring it down for the touchdown and the sun comes out and everyone's happy, but then it gets called back and out comes the clouds again. Go win the next one Bills
  22. His upper body is very strong, amongst the strongest in the league. What he did in the offseason was getting his lower body stronger, he'll have more power in his legs, he's faster. He already has a nasty stiff-arm, he can also be a decent pass blocker too, when he tries to be. I just wish the Bills would start using him in the passing game like they said they would and it would also be nice if Losman would stop throwing it so high on the short passes.
  23. McCargo is the only pick we will regret making in this whole draft, IMO. He could be a good defensive lineman, but even if so, it's looking like Kyle Williams is going to be outstanding anyways. It's hard to say that you used a second round pick on a rotation player... We would he been much better off using the pick on an offensive lineman or a linebacker.
  24. no kidding
  25. I also have a question about a rule, isn't blocking from behind only supposed to be called on kicks, otherwise it's legal? If that's the case then we got robbed a defensive touchdown from Whitner, and also a crucial first down gain by Price which was called back. Every play of the game the Patriots were holding, didn't get called once. Not once. Moorman got mauled by 4 rushers, no call. Just fascinating how badly the refs stink, they may as well wear Patriots jerseys next time.
