  1. Hey, so you have to make the drive to Toronto for one game, a big deal. That's what Torontonians deal with all the time for the games. And most of us still want the Bills in Buffalo. I know I do. Wouldn't be the same if they moved to Toronto.
  2. I think that Omon won't make the team, and I don't see them cutting Dwayne Wright.
  3. A lot of negativity for this guy. He's a stud, I'm kind of surprised to see people down on him. He's been our most consistent and game-changing offensive weapon over the past few years, and he's been playing without a viable threat on the other side, so defenses have been able to emphasize on him. I think he's done an outstanding job considering the circumstances and how brutal this offense has been, and to say that good receivers work around that, he has worked around that, he's been phenominal. With more consistent play from the quarterback and more gamebreakers around him like Lynch and hopefully Hardy, he's going to explode.
  4. 1. Rivers will fall, Bills will take him. 2. Raiders will take McFadden. 3. Gholston will be the best defensive player taken out of this year's draft, but I have no idea where he's going. 4. Matt Ryan is going to the Chiefs.
  5. But would they want two potential backups....
  6. you really do have a deep voice.
  7. The NFL draft seems to be, in my opinion atleast, hit and miss. There will be players who go in the first round who turn out no better than players taken in the 7th round, while there will be 7th round players who could become superstars. I think it's good to have as many draft picks as you can get, within reason of course, to make the chances of drafting those star players even better.
  8. 1. Adrian Peterson - Cleveland Browns 2. Patrick Willis - Buffalo Bills 3. Brady Quinn - Minnesota Vikings 4. Amobi Okoye - Washington Redskins 5.Ted Ginn, Jr - Carolina Panthers
  9. I hope that team isn't the Bills, he's not going to succeed in the NFL anymore. As much as I'll be cheering for him, after watching him for a year in the CFL and taking his attitude into perspective, he's not in a position to succeed at the NFL level. And say he does succeed. We get him for a year or two. Turner, who would be around for a long time and also doesn't have the wear and tear that Williams has, would be a much, much better option.
  10. Ricky Williams gets the wrong impression around here, he's not a bad character guy, he doesn't get in trouble with the law for anything and he's never in jail either. The only issue is whether his heart is in football or not, and I believe that it is, but not in the NFL. Ricky Williams prefers the CFL becuase everyone is a lot friendlier there and there's a lot less pressure on him, the game is more enjoyable. Would I sign him if I were the Bills? No. His heart is not in football and the only reason he's back in the NFL is to collect his paycheck. Does he have character issues? No he doesn't and that's a misconception around here.
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing some competition for the second spot as well, but we'll never know what Nall really can do until he gets some playing time during the regular season, which may never happen anyways. Everybody's gotta start somewhere and he never really had that chance with Favre playing in every game.
  12. Kind of unfair to say that though, because Nall hasn't really had a chance to prove himself, JP just flourished. I was for JP all the way too, but I still won't put down Nall.
  13. Remember, not everyone is an NFL fanatic like people on these forums. Someone who maybe watches the Bills but doesn't follow the team as closely as we do may find this information useful, and I'm pretty sure that's the kind of audience that this kind of stuff is targeted towards.
  14. This was pretty clever!
  15. Plus Turner has played behind Ladainian Tomlinson, you have to think that he's learned a thing or two from the man who in the future may be considered the best running back to ever play the game.
  16. Being a Leafs fan, I'd have to go with NHL Playoff Races. It's hard to get too excited for a draft that's a month away when my NHL team is fighting for their playoff lives. Big game tonight against the Rangers, go Leafs!
  17. I would say go for it. Turner is a big question mark, but so is anyone we end up taking in the second round. He's actually succeeded at the NFL level, and he's broken off some pretty big runs as well, can't say the same for whoever we'll be taking in the second round. The only downfall is the contract issue, but the Bills should have the cap space and if he does well in Buffalo, Marv and Ralph will be more than willing to shovel over the money. He has the potential to be a top tier running back, something we can't get from Anthony Thomas or any of the free agents out there, something we more than likely won't get from a second round pick. Right now we have a pretty sad running attack, Anthony Thomas just doesn't scare defenses. Turner on the other hand has that homerun ability, and if the Bills want to be a competitor this year, that's what they need. All we have on the offensive side of the ball right now is Losman and Evans, and that won't win us games, it doesn't matter who's blocking up front.
  18. Give us a home game against the Ravens on either the Thursday night, Sunday night, or Monday night.
  19. Robert Edwards is in the CFL now, playing running back for the Alouettes. He's actually running very well, and he seems to have his speed back. He's the feature back in Montreal and he's racking up 1000 yard seasons. I'm glad that you don't demonstrate a lack of understanding of this player though.
  20. Yeah, Chris Brown is a favourite of mine, he's a good guy. Never met him personally but his stuff is always a good read and he's almost always right on target.
  21. I really like the Giants' white ones with the red stripes, I like the Texans red ones, the Bills throwback jerseys, Chargers powder blue, and I can't think of anything else that sticks out. Ones that I hate are the Cardinals new jerseys and the Vikings new jerseys. Pure garbage. Bills home and away are somewhere in the middle, although I like the away a little more than the home.
  22. they are pretty crafty for pulling this off...he speaks of the truth.
  23. While Clements may have had a couple of huge hits, Winfield overall was a more consistant and reliable tackler.
