  1. He knew the the team's record. You've somehow managed to take that completely out of context.
  2. If you get a boner from watching a big play, that's your business, we don't need to know.
  3. I'd like to say Donte Whitner, he's been the subject of criticism lately. Other than that, Kawika Mitchell, Brad Butler...
  4. Let's see, the hit on Chad Johnson wasn't bad. But then you'll say, that's only one hit. He is the leader of this defense, he always brings his top game, he plays with more intensity than any player on the defense and they look up to that...I remember how he was holding film sessions with the younger defensive backs like Ashton Youboty during the offseason. The guy is committed, and he's consistently getting better on the field. He's still young, especially for a safety which is a difficult position to learn in the NFL. Lastly, the defense is clearly better when he's on the field. The Bills need MORE players like Whitner, then they'd have a lot more heart.
  5. I agree, but I'm not sure if McGahee was a bust, he was a late first-round gamble, and it's easy to forget that he made an enormous impact out of the gates as he put Travis Henry on the bench and dug the team out of an 0-4 start. That being said, I wonder how many other teams have had first round busts since 2000.
  6. Let's trade the heart and soul of our defense so we can replace him with Ko Simpson, or better yet, George Wilson. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Whitner's not going anywhere, and it's a damn good thing.
  7. We finally find a top offensive lineman, and now we want to trade him. Usually, your chances of winning are better when you keep your top players.
  8. Funny you remembered those three plays, and forgot his touchdown pass to Peerless that same game, or the pass to Parrish that won them the Jacksonville game. These were his glory moments. Hmm am I forget any others? Just found it mentioned earlier in this thread the touchdown against the Jets last year. Maybe the touchdown pass to Evans against the Packers 2 years ago? Not sure it was the game-winner though. I think he drove them down the field for a winning drive in Miami last year, too.
  9. He's trying to...
  10. Wow Mangini might just be trying to throw it right back to us it's like Mangini and JP are playing catch, no more like hot potato neither of them want it.
  11. JP has officially dug his grave.
  12. has to be the biggest joke of a play in the NFL this year.
  13. well JP, you've blown it, now go get it back.
  14. WAY TO GO TURK, JP
  15. It was certainly stupid, but that doesn't mean it should be an excuse, and it's the last reason that our season is over. If we can't beat the Dolphins on a neutral field then we're not a very good football team.
  16. Yes, I understand your point, but give me a break, fans in any instance can be as knowledgeable as a sports journalist, the only difference is for the journalist it's a profession. What it looks like you're saying is that journalists can't be wrong because since they're professionals, they know more.
  17. No, Trent didn't put us in that position, the defense, Marshawn Lynch, and Leodis McKelvin did, what game did you watch? Trent himself didn't do anything to put us in position to win the game. I'm not arguing between Losman and Edwards as I cheer for both of them, I'm a Bills fan... I'm just saying, be a little more accurate.
  18. I don't think Losman, in his whole career, ever looked as bad as Trent did on that Monday night. Losman stinks, but at least he throws the ball down the field and he's not scared. Edwards stinks, and he's scared.
  19. Trent has looked far worse than this...
  20. The talent was there with Donahoe too. We were loaded with talent. Guys like Clements and Winfield and later McGee, Lawyer Milloy had some good years here, Spikes, Fletcher, Posey, Schobel, Sam Adams, Pat Williams, Aaron Schobel, am I missing someone probably. And the offense was good for its years too with Price and Moulds and later Evans and Moulds, Bledsoe was good at QB, and we had Henry then McGahee at RB. We had such a talented team at times, more so than now, but coaching could never get it together. I remember the one year we started amazing, we beat the Pats 31-0 then crushed the Jaguars, it was fun. We had a top 3 defense every year. Who was the starting linebacker at that position after Posey though? Was it Crowell? That situation is a little fuzzy. Needless to say, the team we have now doesn't compare to those teams, talent wise. But we have the young players who could develop into stars. We're getting there.
  21. It's called we might have kicked the field goal when we went for 4th down. So it's possible. Having the points changes the game, you can't just use the math and plug in points and say this and that, missing a 20 yard field goal after driving down to the 2 yard line can take the air out of your offense. What lost us the game today was making it to the redzone 3 times, and coming away with 3 points.
  22. Then what do you call Trent Edwards?
  23. wow, JP's in, we actually have a chance to win.
  24. ARGOS fan here - I watched the game, loved it. Leading up to the game, I thought it could be the most exciting Grey Cup game since 2005, they havn't been so good since then. Especially the Lions/Als 2 years ago, and last year the Bombers/Riders, which I was at. Finally, there were two top teams in the big game. It didn't quite live up to my expectations, which were very high for these two teams, but it was a great game to watch. It was a low-scoring game by CFL standards, but it wasn't a sloppy low-scoring game. Both offenses moved the ball, turnovers were at a minimum, there just weren't many mistakes. The low score is more of an indication of two great defenses. This was the dream matchup for the CFL this year, and it worked out. Good for the league. It's too bad my Argos blew their chance to play host last year.
