  1. I mean, the NFL already was streaming with Prime and required a cable subscription for games on ESPN (The simulcasts on ABC were a result of the Writers Strike and won’t continue next season).
  2. The Devil has to be a Fish fan, right? That guy is definitely from Florida…
  3. Bateman, Flowers, Beckham and Likely (Andrews replacement) running around catching balls from Lamar who is probably going to win MVP. Then you have Aiyuk, Kittle, Samuel, and McCaffery catching passes from Purdy who is probably a Top 5 MVP vote-getter. We need another dynamic WR or 2 to make plays with Stef and Kincaid. Shakir is fine but we can be better. I agree that the pass rush is important, but not as important as scoring points. You aren’t rushing the passer if you aren’t scoring points because they’re running the ball and the clock. If we are winning games by lots of points we’ll have the 10+ sack guy because there will more and more opportunities to sack the QB. As far as OL is concerned, I would be drafting these players in rounds 3-7. There are plenty of examples of lineman excelling from those rounds in the NFL. There are for WRs, too, like Diggs, but I think they’re fewer and farther between. Give me consensus top-tier playmaker prospects and let the OL coach mold the OL.
  4. They can score 17, 20, 24, it really doesn’t matter if I’m scoring 35, 38, 41…
  5. The guy that scores the points with a guy better at scoring points.
  6. Sherfield is one year deal, Davis is up, Harty is going to be cut… queue the Spider-Man Pointing Gif? The roster next year takes shape in time, but having limited guys under contract on DL is also true of WR.
  7. I think this making my point. Are the Bills better off taking a can’t miss WR in Rd 1 and relying on good scouting to find a serviceable OL in rounds 3-6? Like Spencer Brown (I said serviceable…) Dion is a Rd 2 Pick, so is Torrence and Jackson Carmen, for that matter.
  8. I don’t know who Jackson Carman is without googling. The NFL is about winning and scoring points and passing the football. The Bengals went to the Super Bowl with Chase and a crappy OL and damn near won the thing.
  9. No, but they took them. Especially the Chase pick after having Higgins. Essentially recognizing that they could be that much better with Chase in the mix. It is a passing league, so pass catchers are the way to go. I would Fine taking two in the first two rounds, three rounds, or four rounds, but I do think we need to take two. If Isabella had anything he’d be on the field. Same with Shorter (I know he has been on IR). Diggs, Kincaid, Rd 1 Rookie and Shakir as the top four plus another rookie and Shorter battling for the 5 spot would be great, IMO. Knox is probably overpaid at this point, but can also make plays. Cook out the backfield can be useful, too.
  10. Do we think that has anything to do with Burrow being out for the season? I don’t think them being mathematically eliminated has anything to do with the quality of their top 3 WRs.
  11. Obviously they waste company time and money reading these threads and vigorously responding!
  12. How is this going as we head into Week 18??? @Captain Hindsight
  13. Just look at the Bengals. Had Boyd and drafted Tee. Had Boyd and Tee and then drafted Chase. Those three with Joey B have been awesome. Just keep picking them high.
  14. Didn’t Bobby Hart Legarret Blount a guy while with the Bills?
  15. Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge…
  16. After the trade deadline passes all players, regardless of NFL Service, are subject to waivers.
  17. When the team that possesses the ball puts the ball through the endzone it is a touchback. A kickoff through the endzone is a touchback. A punt through the endzone is a touchback. A fumble through the endzone is a touchback. I see no issue with the rule. Makes perfect sense.
  18. I think it depends on what you want to learn. I am a High School Offensive Coordinator and and have spent countless hours learning the game in order to move up the ladder. Football Tool Chest is a hell of a place to find things to learn from. I am a big fan of trying to find a playbook that I am interested in and then the team's All-22 film to go with it. An easy one is the Gus Malzahn offense. There is some Chad Morris film from his time at Clemson that is great to watch when skimming through the playbook. MatchQuarters.com is great to learn about modern defenses and how teams defend against spread offenses. I am mostly self-taught through time and energy. 6 years ago I was an 8th grade volunteer assistant, and now I am going into year 2 as a Varsity Offensive Coordinator at a Class A School here in NY. Have an idea of what you want to learn about then go an find it on the tool chest or Matchquarters. Good Luck!
  19. Cj said it was all about the money... if 4.5 wasn't high enough from Buffalo... not sure he is getting a better offer.
