  1. That design was horrendous. I wonder what the hell happened when they practiced this play… if you want to move the pocket and get Josh throwing on the move b/c the pass rush is teeing off the do that. Trick plays are for bad teams, desperate situations, and special teams.
  2. You know who has lost a step… Joe Ferguson! He is like 70+ years old!
  3. I love this. I always wondered if I was the only one who ever pondered such things. Turns out its just me and Just Jack. I see you.
  4. Took a few Unders… Colts Game Broncos Game Chargers Game (Herbert GTD) Titans Game Took Swift over 56.5 Rush yards and a flier on Jalen Tolber over 79.5 Rec yards. Good Luck to those who participate!
  5. I’m going with James Cook again this week. He is so smooth and a dynamic playmaker with the ball. The volume should be there, too, between rushes and receptions. Defensively I am looking at Ed Oliver to step up and win some battles in the middle of the OL. Can’t wait to see the lasso!
  6. I love this thread and by Tuesday I will also love/hate you, Corta!
  7. I think it is more about the Giants and their old friends losing a game because they weren’t prepared. If Bass gets a wonky toe nail (or whatever injury) they’ll need a plan and this is the due diligence on that plan.
  8. Always wondered why we say “on the road” when professional sports teams fly to every game. In the air. Through the air. Through the sky. I don’t know. There’s something, maybe. Anywhooo….
  9. Brown is Josh’s guy. So he was bound to get the extension.
  10. I’m going with Cook on offense. He is just so smooth and the catch he has on Josh’s scramble Sunday looked very natural, like he worked on it a lot in the offseason. 15 or so carries and maybe 4 catches for right around 100 totally scrimmage yards for the day.
  11. Thanks Gregg.
  12. Not sure what “ESPN did” means, but the game started with a 1st down and Von is more of a 3rd down guy, so makes sense he didn’t start the game.
  13. I’m just hoping we some knee cap biting.
  14. Yeah, here we go!
  15. Nope. This doesn’t work in the NFL. Why? Same reason NFL teams don’t use the spread punt or the rugby punt. NFL players are ALL playing in the NFL.
  16. Shorter was never good. Being 5* Recruit out of HS where the vast majority of competition is NOT playing Big 10 or SEC ball doesn’t make you an NFL Superstar. He was always a guy that got looks because of his looks.
  17. Teams cannot start signing players to the PS until noon tomorrow. He could sign right now to the 53 but teams cannot begin ps signings until tomorrow at noon.
  18. Can’t sign players to the PS until noon tomorrow. Nothing is final until pen is put to paper. Probably will happen, but…
  19. Just here to take some throws off Josh’s arm. He should be advised to rent a hotel room/VRBO and not an apartment or house. He won’t be staying long.
  20. This may shock some, but just because someone is an NFL coach doesn’t mean they’re a great teacher of the position they coach. In many instances a player with lots of talent ends up with an NFL coach who, for whatever reason, doesn’t get the most out of the player. Other times guy with maybe less raw skills ends up with a coach who it really clicks with. Just the way it goes.
  21. The Chiefs overcame the missed kicks. Not just Mahomes.
  22. His highlights made me think of Uncle Rico.
  23. Source? Josh, clearly, is a funny guy. We see it all the time. Part of leading a football team is keeping it fun. Any football season is long and the NFL’s season is the longest. No doubt that Josh is prepared to play each week and when the game is on the line everyone in a Bills uniform (and Bills gear) is looking at him to pull them out from the jaws of defeat. If the story you mentioned is true it is a giant nothing-burger for me.
  24. WotATake. Wow. Leadership comes in all kinds of ways.
