  1. That Jay Leno Jaywalking was hilarious! Thanks for posting. As a history teacher, I am just gonna play this at the start of the school year and tell my students that they need to learn this stuff so they don't get laughed at by all of Leno's viewers!
  2. I got mine last night. I am excited about it. I like the style of it. Looks great for golfing.
  3. I don't think we should do anything but let Lee Evans be a WR for the Bills. To lose him would be crazy. He is too good of a player to just cast off. Maybe he isn't an elite WR but he is better than a lot of WRs in the NFL. I posted this question thinking that we would need to keep Evans, Parrish, Johnson, Easly, Nelson, and maybe Jones on the active Roster. that would leave a spot on the PS for Namaan if he is eligible.
  4. I love the idea. I was a huge JP supporter and I still am hopeful that he will be able to have a nice career in the NFL. He is a good guy if nothing else and what happened to him in Buffalo was not 100% his fault. As discussed there were some really poor decisions made while he was here. I do remember reading that JP was throwing with some of the Bills, but I believe it was in Buffalo prior to the players week long camp in WNY. He was visiting Lee I think. I posted the link somewhere after I read it on this board. I just went back to it and the site has taken the story down.
  5. Does Naaman qualify for the Practice Squad this season?
  6. I would live to see Drayton back in Buffalo. We have Mcge, Mckelvin, Williams ® and Corner right now. I think that getting Drayton back makes that position much stronger only because Corner is then our fifth cornerback. He is a very good Dime back, whereas without Drayton we have a young buck probably a UDFA in the Dime postion which makes its a weakness in my eyes. PLus, Mcgee hasn't stayed healthy lately. Just for depth purposes it makes a lot of sense.
  7. The best name for a stadium has to be Great American Ballpark where the Cincinnati Reds play their home games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_American_Ballpark
  8. I'll go with Eric Prydz's Call On Me
  9. Thanks for the write up. Good to hear things from him. I am 100% rooting for Fitz to improve on last year and really seize this team as him for the next several years. He is a good dude that the fans and players like/love. I know I want him to become a top 10-12 NFL QB this year and beyond (for Buffalo).
  10. There are certain things that are just football. At this level, there are a lot of little things that the fans dont/wont know, but for the most part, lining up and running a post pattern is something every team does. Every team plays man and zone coverage, so the D can work on that. Linemen block, stuff the run, and rush the passer. They can work on those things. Technique is going to be a lot of what is done. You are right about the things that Dave W is going to want them to do, but that is a lot of real specific stuff, these "Team Workouts" led by players are going to focus a lot on the general aspects of football.
  11. So, JP was there... http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills-players-begin-lockout-workouts
  12. I was at a Bills preseaon game when I was prolly 13 or 14 and saw Ralph walk through the Jim Kelly Club. I was with my dad and he goes "Thats Ralph Wilson! Go ask for his autograph!" So, I went over and said "Mr Wilson, could I have you autograph?" I was ready with a pen and a Bills hat for him to sign. Without a word, and only a dismissive motion of his hand, Ralph just walked on by. I've had a bitter taste in my mouth about him ever since. That was prolly 2001-2002. I love the Bills more than anything, but that really sucked.
  13. I like it. I hope they do some good work and really work hard together running drills and just being around each other doing football things. Its very exciting.
  14. This is exactly what I think. I think Coleman/White will be depth inside as Batten will be depth outside.
  15. Donovan McNabb is one of my favorite players in the NFL because all he does all the time is prove people wrong. He was booed when Philadelphia drafted him and then had a wonderful career for the Eagles. He was traded and then slighted by the Redskins and I believe he will bounce back next season, maybe in Arizona or Minnesota, and create a lot of buzz and stir deep into the playoffs, but I digress. I just read this article and it just makes me mad. There is enough hate in this world, I don't understand why people like this Hopkins guy get to speak. He doesn't even make sense. I don't know. Read it for yourselves... http://eye-on-football.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/29227509
  16. Yeah, what deal? I am not sure we know what you are referring to...
  17. Facebook is a scary place.
  18. I really hope it does not happen, but I am sure the NFL is looking at labor disputes in other major american sports leagues, like the NHL which did shut down for an entire year in order to get the players to agree to the owners desires. That option was what the NHL guys felt had to be done in order to get their league where they wanted it to be, so they did it. The sport suffered, but its back and its doing well. I know I was into the Sabres series a few weeks ago. I think it is a viable option for the league, and I can see it happening. I really hope it doesn't, but it just might. Ps. I dont give one iOda about getting Andrew Luck. That is 12 months away. Can we get through this coming season (hopefully) before we start yelling for Andrew Luck? Seriously.
  19. The goal is not to get to the next NFL Draft. Every team gets to play in that event. The goal is improve each season and make the playoffs and Super Bowl. Not every team gets to play in that event. A 4 game improvement this year is huge, the following season it would be great to see a 2 game improvement to 10 wins, after that you hope to sustain success and compete for 11-14 wins each season. Thats what we are hoping for. Not to get to draft a guy in 2012. Thats stupid. We'll draft guys in 2012 regardless.
  20. Yeah. A 4 game improvement would be huge. Dont you think? Anyone who thinks we're going to be a SB Contender is crazy. I would be thrilled with 8-8. 4 games better in Chan's second season, then you hope for a 1-2 game improvement in year 3 and hopefully by year 4 we are fighting for 12-14 wins and going deep into the playoffs. Rome wasnt built in a day, Neither were the Packers, Steelers, Patriots, Colts, or Saints. All we need to do is improve each year.
  21. Didnt see any Yards after Catch stat on that link. As I recall, I remember Josh being pretty good after the catch as well.
