  1. Yeah, Fitz gave up a 16-0 lead. Don't even bring up the first INT. It was a fluke. Sometimes, you just have to say "It Happens" and move on. But, yeah, lets cut Fitz so we can have Tyler in there throwing picks. Great plan dude. Go cheer for the Argos or the TIger-Cats. You won't be missed here.
  2. What were people's reactions to the Xavier and Cincinnati basketball brawl yesterday? I am a Xavier Alum. I think XU looks really bad in all of this, but UC for not standing strong on their post game words looks weak. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/gametracker/recap/NCAAB_20111210_CIN@XAVIER/brawl-ends-game-in-cincinnati http://bleacherreport.com/articles/977367-uc-xavier-fight-video-crosstown-shootout-marred-by-shocking-on-court-brawl Just curious on Public Opinion.
  3. Whats wrong with bringing in a guy to be 3rd sting who has the experience of running a spread offense similar to the one being run in Buffalo? Yeah, this was a terrible idea...
  4. A cruise ship doesn't turn in an instant. Becoming a legit playoff team after years of subpar records and ultra conservative/boring/unwatchable play, the roster needed to be overhauled and the "depth" needed playing time. Depth comes with playing time, and (un)fortunately our Depth has had a lot of playing time this year. We are gonna be alright. Remember a 7-9 finish is a 3 game improvement. A 10-6 season next year would not be out of question, or an unrealistic expectation. This year, 10-6 was going to take all the bounces going our way.
  5. I was just looking at Fitz' numbers too. I didnt compare him to all the Qbs around the league but his numbers are much better than Flacco's....all I did and what the OP has done for me is prove that its not Fitz whose to blame. We just need better players....Got to get Steve back and need to bring in WR who can stretch the field....or put Leodis out there to stretch the D (I know he can't catch...)
  6. I want all D again this year...I think we have to take the best DL again in the 1st. Dareus, Williams and Player X would help us immensely...
  7. Was just coming on here to post the same thing...we need this guy if its possible
  8. I'm happy with Nix and Whaley. Wouldn't want to jeopardize Whaley's interest in Buffalo by bringing in a big name guy to be Buddy's #2/Successor.
  9. Couldnt agree more Hindsight. By the way, how are your trustee companions Coulda, Woulda and Shoulda? Oh and I hear Mintberry Crunch is on the loose again!
  10. Can we? Yes we can 4 games in December. Is it something that I really think is possible? Yes, I do. I agree with the OP that none of these teams scare me. We can the Titans and having them at the Ralph is going to be a huge advantage for the Bills. They are itching to get back in that stadium in front of the "Die-Hards" and really play well. Going to SD is going to be a challenge because of the cross country trip, but I believe that the Chargers are reeling right now and Norv is extremely similar to Jouron in the way he coaches to not lose. We know that playing that way causes losses. Miami at Home in Decemeber is always tough on them. Plus, we owe them a slacking. Denver on Christmas Eve is going to be a really fun atmosphere. The key to beating Denver is to force turnovers and score early. We need a 2 TD lead in the 4th Quarter. Tebow doesn't have that much magic. He is good for 1 td drive a game.
  11. I guess I'll lock my keys in my car before the walk to the stadium...
  12. Its good to work the system to your advantage. I like Coleman too, but obviously the staff like Eddins more. This is a good move.
  13. I signed it. Thanks for posting. Lets get this done!
  14. I would be really upset if we lost Stevie. I really enjoy him and everything that comes with him. I will gladly take the "bad" he brings with all that good!
  15. This is how we "lost" fairchild...
  16. So, I am aware of Jasper's current position on the offensive side of the ball. I am also aware that you do not have to IR a player and then sign a player of the same to position to the Active Roster. You can put anyone on the Active Roster when you send a player to IR or to waivers. My point in all of this is that Jasper isn't ready, he was a luxury pick at the back end of the 7th round. A guy can dunk and launch a medicine ball and we think he is our saviour. If he was, he'd have been pulled up to the Active Roster. He hasn't been. We have made dozens of moves this season, none of which have involved Jasper being put on the Active Roster because he is not capable of helping this team right now, not on offense, not on defense, not on special teams. He is a project. I'm tired of hearing his name every day. Yeah, lets cut a guy who can play on Sundays for a guy who can't play on Sundays. Good logic.
  17. He doesnt kick either but that Lindell to IR thread as the OP hopeful that Jasper could be elevated to take Lindell's roster spot. Everybody needs to understand that if Chan thought Jasper was a guy who could play at the NFL level this year he'd be on the Active Roster. Again, he is passed over. Again, people will be upset and clamoring for Jasper all week.
  18. With Troup going to IR and the Bills opting to elevate Dotson from the PS to the Active Roster yet again tells me that everyone's Boy Jasper isn't ready to help this team. Potential doesn't help a team on Sundays. He might be able to help us in the future, but clearly not yet as is evidenced by this slight again today.
  19. I think its because Lindell will be healthy in the next few weeks and then Rayner will be let go to make room for your boy Jasper (who in my opinion is way over-hyped, especially on this board).
  20. I think he is a 4-3 guy, thats why Poz wanted to be a Jaguar. Would be funny if they went with a 3-4 guy for the next few seasons...
  21. And Dareus had a 15 yd penalty on the next play...30 yards in penalties and a botched kickoff...yup, it was ALL stevie's fault!
  22. I think that Stevie should embrace his "character" through his words. If he wanted to be a guy with outrageous celebrations, he should have entered the league when Joe Horn was pulling our "Flip" phones and TO had sharpies. He is a funny dude, and a smart dude, talk to the media all you want, put your creative dances on a website for people to view, but leave it off the field. I thought it was hilarious, for the record, and loved it until it hurt the team. Score all the TDs you can Stevie, then hug your teammates and spike the ball. Nothing more is needed. You did it with the help of 10 other ppl on the field. It was not JUST you who scored...
