  1. My girlfriend had her iPhone stolen right out of her purse tonight. Its a longer story than that, but I'll spare you all the details. Is there any chance she'll ever see it again? Is there any way that if it gets taken to a Verizon or Apple store that they would see the serial number or something? She had the service deactivated right away, so basically its just a piece of plastic, metal and computer chips because she keeps it with a password. Thanks.
  2. Well, hopefully they'll be around to spend money this offseason. Especially with the slotted draft picks due to the rookie wage scale. Seems to me resigning our guys and bringing a few from some other teams should be the obvious game plan. But, I'm not sure we'll do any of it.
  3. Based on the things that Steve has said and the things that the Bills have said, I think that Stevie knows his best chance for continued success is with the Bills. His style of play is not conducive to all offenses. He runs unique routes and plays the game differently and outside of the box than most conventional NFL WRs. It works in Chan's offense with Fitz throwing the ball. Does it work in SF with Alex Smith throwing the ball? I don't know, but I wouldn't want to take that chance if I were a player like him. He is not fast, he not really that quick. He gets open because he run routes like a small forward trying to shake a defender to set up a pick off a base-line curl.
  4. For those in this thread that are focusing on Stevie's drop against the Jets...Go Away. This was not a thread created to bash Stevie and drive him out of town. There are other threads or twitter for that nonsense. The point of this thread was to say that Stevie is a guy Buffalo needs to keep and here is proof that he is an upper-echelon WR in the NFL. Hell, even Wes Welker drops big time potential game-winning passes. I don't think anyone in NE is trying to fire Welker. Can you all be happy with something for once?? I know, I know, "I won't be happy till the Bills get back to the playoffs, and having a guy like Stevie Johnson who drops passes is not going to help us get there!" I want Stevie in Buffalo, and in my eyes he has proven 2 things...1. He is a top flight WR in the NFL...2 He needs to be just a little more consistent in order to be talked about in the same sentence as Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.
  5. Reed will get in. I think he has every right to be frustrated. Wouldn't you be frustrated if you had 941 NFL catches after playing your college ball at Kutztown State? Ya might be...Ya just might be...

  7. I almost vomited when I read this. I just don't understand the sick and twisted. Maybe thats why they are sick and twisted...
  8. Cynical: It looks like a prison.
  9. I thought it was a good movie. I really thought the evolution of the main character was interesting and accurate. Did not realize the budget was so small compared to other films. I liked it. I didn't love it.
  10. Maybe, Fitz and Lin decided to go to Harvard because they were unsure if their athletic talent would make them millionaires, but their Harvard Education would have a chance at it...Both probably thought that if the Athletics worked out then great, but if not I'm the sucker holding the Harvard Degree...
  11. Do you guys realize that "fan" is short for "fanatic"? Yup. Thats right. It is defined as: a person filled with excessive single-minded zeal. The optimism then, if obvious, because that is what "fans" bring. If you are so tired of the Bills, thats fine and you have every right to be, but please take your poison elsewhere, because us fans want to have excitement about our team.
  12. Tim Tebow doesn't know what a piece of her or any female is like...c'mon guys, we all know Timmy is waiting for marriage...
  13. Spoiler Alert: The Giants won.
  14. I am all about Pass Rush. That, in my opinion, fixes so many problems with our defense. I believe that KW and MD in the middle of the 4 man front D-Line will be able to significantly upgrade our run D. I like Sheppard in the Middle, and I like Barnett on the Weak Side. I think we need to figure out if the combination of Moats, White, Batten, and Merriman can be serviceable at the Strong Side LB. I would be shocked if the Bills didn't grab the best 43 DE at 10th in April. I would be shocked if one our 2nd or 3rd round picks is not a CB. I think that McGee is done, which is sad because he is a good player, but he just can't do it anymore. I think Williams is going to be a terrific player. I think we need Rogers, McKelvin, and Florence to have some real competition with a rookie who will challenge to be on the field. Additionally, if we are going to pick a corner in round 2 or 3, then whichever one don't had better be a speedy WR. I don't care if the guy can catch or not, we just need to stretch the field. He'll catch some of them. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut...
  15. Maybe Trent and JP could go and compete for the job. Perhaps Dick Jouron wants to be the head coach?
  16. If coach had put in back in '73, we'd have taken state! I'll played club football in college...you want me?
  17. I think we need to have some consistency. Football players need that in order to be successful because they are, by and large, creatures of habit. We have not had consistency at the head coaching position for several tenures in Buffalo. I, personally, like the steps the team has taken under Gailey. They are at least watchable and for the most part competitive. Yes, they still have to improve in several areas, but I like where they are headed. In my opinion firing Chan after next season if they don't make the playoffs would be a bad move for this franchise. If they go 2-14, then thats a different story, but if they hit 8-8 or 9-7, I think you have to stay the course. With all of the upheaval throughout the 2000's, we knew this was not going to be an overnight fix, especially when Chan and Buddy said they were going to build through the draft. If we draft well, which I think we have, and we push forward, we'll be hitting our stride right around the time Brady is getting near the end. Consistency. Pure and simple.
  18. I wouldn't be shocked if the Bills grabbed a top flight WR at 10 if the top rated D-ends are already off the board. I think its Plan A = Pass Rush, Plan B = WR, Plan C = Sit on the pick till we decide, so we'll draft 15th without trading back! LOL
  19. Andy Dalton is equal to Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson. Yup They won superbowls...with excellent Defenses and a "Don't Lose this game for us" message from a rabid linebacker on their own team (Derrick Brooks and Ray Lewis).
  20. This! World Beater and future Perennial Pro-Bowler regardless Position, Mike Jasper should play all offensive and defensive positions at once! C'mon guys!!! We saw a youtube video of him working out!!!!!
  21. Yes, thats true. However, I think a lot of reasoning behind that is that those particular running backs carried their teams on Offense, Defense and Special teams in High School, and on Offense in College, and then again in the NFL. The Running back in question on the Bills, was never that player. He was a backup in high school and played at a DIII school which to me sounds like considerably less pounding, if only from the smaller players hitting him. After the DII he played in a minor league Arena game and finally in NFL Europe before being a 3rd team player for the Bills for a few years before he finally got his chance about 3-4 years ago, but really wasnt featured until this year. My point is that I believe that Fred has at least 4 more good years in him because he hasn't taken the same pounding as a guy like Tomlinson did by the time he was 30.
  22. WEO, I said "He likely would have had a chance to be healthy enough to play," not that he is, but that there would have been a chance. Please don't twist it to take away from the meaning of the post. Regardless, he deserved the honor of being selected. If he could or could not play is not the point. The point is that he was having a Pro Bowl type season it was taken away because of being placed on IR. Matt Forte should have the same problem. kota, He was on the Ballot for a few games prior to being on IR and a few games afterwards.
