  1. After seeing that video, I would take Fendi and Caussin as Chandler's backups.
  2. I hope Dareus has more of these kind of things to say. Love it... The whole quote with the "mmmmmmph!" is hilarious and outstanding.
  3. I'm done with Chris Kelsay. I met him, and he is a cool dude, but he offers very little outside of Run Fits from the DE position, and frankly, I'm over him. I would not at all be surprised or upset if we cut him.
  4. I thought I recalled hearing the Bills players, specifically David Nelson, talking about the use of iPads for their day jobs...
  5. The Top 10 Picks are 5 year contracts, I believe. Edit: Top 10 are 4 yrs with a team option for the 5th. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/20/fifth-year-contract-formula-could-push-tannehill-out-of-top-10/
  6. No. We don't need aging vets in their twilight! We are trying to put together a young core of guys to help this team win. It would be counterproductive to cut a guy like Donald Jones for Ochocinco. They would give you the same skill set and number of catches, the only problem is someone else would grab Jones and develop him, while we would watch Ocho stumble off into the sunset. NO!
  7. I say no. We'll be just fine. I don't want a guy with the kind of baggage those guys bring.
  8. This is so bizarre. Its a long read, but really interesting. From Deadspin.com http://deadspin.com/5906658/is-an-espn-columnist-scamming-people-on-the-internet-[update] and http://deadspin.com/5906849/sarah-phillips-admits-she-concealed-her-identity-made-poor-choices-with-who-to-trust
  9. CHAMPIONSHIP! Lol. I like our chances at doing well and breaking the drought. I'm more of a wait and see kinda guy. Would love improvement. 6-10 last year means a 3 game turn around would be great, so I like 9-7 with realistic chances for 10 to 11 wins.
  10. I went back and forth on Asper and Brown. My reason for taking Asper was that he can play both C and G and so can Urbik. I don't know as much about Brown, other than Buddy said he likes guys that can play two positions because you only get 7 active on Sundays. If Brown can play G too then it will be an interesting Camp Battle. Maybe Asper sticks on the PS. My reason for Heard over White is that in the 4-3 system I believe that you'll need at least 5 DTs and 6 LBs. Heard gives us that, but again, I am not in any position of knowing and maybe the preferred position in the LB and 7 LBs is better than 5 DTs. Regardless, this competition is going to be fierce.
  11. I believe the argument against bringing in Gaffney is the same as the one about bringing in Clark. We don't have a real need for an aging vet on a roster that is going to have make tough roster choices as it is. At the WR position we are going to have to cut guys that have contributed for the Bills. No need to complicate it any further.
  12. Thanks Hindsight.
  13. I agree that young NFLers need to see how their teammates work and get it done in the offseason and weight room, but it does not have to be from a guy in the same position. Nobody works harder than KW, Stevie or Fred. If a young guy on the Bills wants to emulate a work-ethic, then he should watch one of those guys. Dallas Clark is likely done. He had a great career, but as someone pointed out, his production has led to his demise. His body can't take all the pounding anymore. I wish him well in whatever he does after football, but I don't want to give a roster spot to an aging vet with little to nothing left on a roster that is already loaded with guys who can contribute. We are going to have to make some difficult veteran cuts this year, and having Clark would just make it even harder.
  14. There are going to be some guys cut this year that have produced for us in the past. The writing in on the wall and its in the form of competition. I really am excited about it because the level of play is going to go up. Here are my 53: WRs - Nelson, Graham, Roosevelt, Johnson, Jones, Easley TEs - Chandler, Caussin Ts - Pears, Sanders, Hairston, Glenn Gs - Urbik, Asper, Reinhart, Levitre C - Wood RBs - Jackson, Spiller, Choice, McIntyre QBs - Fitzpatrick, Thigpen, Smith DEs - Williams, Anderson, Kelsey, Merriman DTs - Dareus, Williams, Troup, Carrington, Heard LBs - Morrison, Barnett, Bradham, Sheppard, Carder, Moats CBs - Gilmore, Williams, Florence, Brooks, McKelvin, Rogers Ss - Byrd, Wilson, Searcy, Scott Ks - Lindell, Potter P - Moorman LS - Sandborne I think of those guys, Roosevelt, Rogers, Troup, Heard, and Choice are on the "Bubble." Maybe Kelsey too. If we sign VY then Thigpen is likely out as well. I'd like to see other people's 53 man rosters too. I am hoping that Chris Brown will update us on the players that are PS players too because that would help us picture the final roster. Have Fun.
  15. I am hoping that we'll have all our key guys taken care of by the end of the offseason. I think Buddy wants it that way, and I think they players prefer it that way. I am sure someone will act up about it (maybe Merriman because he seems like a difficult negotiation for a number of reasons) but I think its in everyone's best interest to have it done sooner than later.
  16. I thought he was a good player. I would like to see him come in and compete for a roster spot.
  17. And it gives you a bunch of guys to go an get if/when players get injured. Like Reggie Corner and Naaman last year.
  18. It will be an unceremonious end to a great Bills career for Terrence McGee. He was tremendous for us as a 4th rounder in both the Kick-Return and then later at the CB spot. I do agree, though. His body has given out on him. I don't think another team would pick him up unless they were desperate.
  19. And Oswieler! For that matter, why didnt we trade to 4 and take Tannehill! I am so done with team! Who wants to be fast and strong when you could have all the guys the people on ESPN think you should have? GAWWWWW!
  20. He probably thought it was healing and then when he was in for the Offseason Workouts, the team Dr's and Stevie determined that it was not healing as they had hoped when last season ended. I am more than ok with him getting this done now and not 2 months ago and not 2 months from now.
  21. I love Chris Brown and I read his posts everyday...before I come here.
