This has also been huge in the development of Losman and the conservative play calling. How many times has our running game failed to pick up a yard on 3rd and 1. Or 4th and 1 ? They don't even try anymore.....

Marv should speak out about this. The point Thurman Thomas made earlier in the year about Willis going out of bounds to start a game instead of leveling his defender to set the tone of the game, probably hit home with Marv. How much trash can a player with 26 yds. talk about an up coming game? Henry got screwed and so did the fans.

The Willis- Henry draft- trade is looking really bad now. Henry was a Fletcher type player, who could play behind a bad line. But with that 2004 season Willis looked like the man. Exactly what happened in Antowain Smith's rookie year- the guy knocked people over like they weren't even there- and then nothing, until he was traded. This position needs to be looked at hard during the off-season. Flame away, but the- "there are no holes" is getting old. This guy didn't need a hole when Henry was here.
