  1. ??? Early 80's Bills were awesome. Seriously, those Knox teams were very good, and exciting to watch.
  2. Sorry, don't know what happened to Quick... but if you're interested in old Eagles, Quick and McNabb were the poor man's version of Harold Charmichael and Randall Cunningham. Keith Jackson was an unstoppable force at TE, too.
  3. Jairus Byrd shouldn't be anywhere on that list. Got a bunch of fluke interceptions while he was out of position. Steve Freeman was consistently good at FS, 12 years for us.
  4. Nice penetrations, but nobody bothered to double team him. Seems kind of odd for someone so dominant, or he just doesn't have a highlight from when he was double-teamed maybe.
  5. Brady becomes HC, and some 7th round scrub from Washington State goes on to beat us for another 17 years. )
  6. The word 'The' tattooed on your neck. Two bags of popcorn, a churro and a fastpass at disneyland, a miniature array from the monsanto fine family of products... the possibilities are endless I don't know the right answers, but this is something I hope they consider.
  7. If you could land a plane as well as Kareem, I'd let your nephew hang out in a Turkish prizon
  8. Have you been waiting since 1978 to tell that, buckeye?
  9. Dear god, i like football. Because i like football, I want a very good middle linebacker I also don't care if our young gun gets kicked to the outside, I want a good MLB call me fm stupid I like him well enough, but I don't need no stinkin' badgers
  10. Yes, I think many children will be born in the glory of those rules and others?
  11. Refuse to shower for another 14 weeks, on principle.
  12. Tough crowd, but where did I insult the child of Ferrel Edmunds? I want a merciless LB corps. So, tell me what it means. You don't either, btw, b/c it's always capitalized EDGE old people trying to get stuff. )
  13. The NFL is trying to kill defense, and of course QB is the #1 position, but try to tell me there is any CB, EDGE... whatever the hell that is, DT, OT, WR(Maybe Jerry Rice excepted, maybe), Safety, TE, Guard or Punter, who changes the game for an entire team the way a truly dominant MLB does. LB's are the football players out there- the men amongst boys, if you will. They keep the prima donnas in check, the DT's in check. MLB's aren't the answer to everything on defense, but they're the ones I want setting the tone. Outside of great roles played by great players, Bruce, Deion, Reggie, the truly intimidating defenses have been anchored by the linebackers. Try it in your head without looking... list the great DL, LB's and DB's, then write them down. $42.76 on the LB's.
  14. Sounds like something an ostrich could warble through its sand-packed jowls.
  15. Best Player Available, for my particular team. Straight BPA is every bit as inflexible as a coach who won't play to his players' strengths. If you have a chance to find a player you can build an identity around, you take him no matter your need, but if that's not the case, you take the player that most makes your team better.
  16. No, a scheme doesn't hold a dominant player back. It gives excuses. And probably an excuse to write an overthunked article.
  17. Okay, so I had only intermittently checked TSW over the years, but I saw a reasonable number of posts along the way. From what I saw in the past, Tim Graham was a pretty solid whit-man on this site, and now a bunch of posters hate him as though he's a puppy rapist. It looked like John Wawrow (sp?) stepped in, and has mostly disappeared as well. From everything I saw, these two were somewhat better than UDFA's, but run out of Dodge. What am I missing?
  18. Yes please. No idea why the Raiders ever let him go.
  19. Don't lie to me, Argentinaaaaaa
