  1. I'd be thrilled if it were the Bills. Why all the concern about year one? Careers last considerably longer than one season.
  2. Good stuff thanks Gunner. You said it all along about the quarterbacks, for many months, and the NFL does agree.
  3. Yeah the trade down is nice. I'm meh on the corner even though be looks like a good player but happy to have the extra picks. Hopefully those college QBs hold up through the season and the Bills can get up there next year.
  4. The owners need to get out of the way and hand the operation over to a personnel man, whether it's a GM, Team President, or "football Czar." They'll learn but it's going to take time and I think McDermott falls into the quicksand before they wisen up.
  5. The Curse of Mahomes has begun! Watch us not make the playoffs his entire career.
  6. Hallelujah! I hope they don't cost themselves a QB with a trade like last year. Interesting that they like the aggressive gunslinger out of all the QBs.
  7. I think Simon sent him on an unpaid vacation a few weeks ago.
  8. I want a QB but I do prefer this board to Leroi's. I really really don't want another 1st round WR for Tyrod to ignore while he runs out of bounds. At least Howard would help in the running game which is where our bread is buttered as long as T-Mobile is the QB. Also FireChan makes an interesting case that Cla may be "done." Even if not, Howard would free him up for more of an H-back role he excelled in in Miami and Dennison I think knows how to use those kinds of players. Then in a couple years Clay will be gone and Howard will be an important piece in the middle of the field for helping along a young quarterback. Basically I prefer anything over WR.
  9. Maybe. Or could it be that they heard something they don't like?
  10. You feel certain that In a hypothetical situation where Whaley and McDermott have a difference of opinion, Whaley would automatically overrule McDermott?
  11. I appreciate that attitude. Reach for the light. If a Lombardi goes to WNY I'm scrambling up there for the parade and hold me to this please, drinks are on me my dude!
  12. So you have reason to Billieve no matter what I or anyone else says.
  13. If it goes completely the opposite I will celebrate like a madman! When I finally calm down enough to check TSW I will admit to being wrong as I've done innumerable times before.
  14. I agree. Collaboration is not only positive but necessary. It's not a job for one person all by their little lonesome. It takes a village. At the same time, there should be a head of the village. This is a blueprint that all NFL champions follow.
  15. I did not insist, it's merely my perception, I was clear about that OMF.
  16. The fact I'm looking at is that Superbowl winners have a trigger-man for their draft picks, and the Bills don't.
  17. Inevitably there will be disagreement. I've seen Pegula discuss the process of making the 1st round pick with my own eyes, I don't need anyone else's narrative. Go ahead and disagree, I'd expect nothing less of you brother.
  18. It's my take that he's been given too much control for a rookie coach. You think otherwise, good for you, with all my heart I hope you're right.
  19. It doesn't matter whether Whaley stays or goes if he's not in charge either way. When has a first-time head coach controlling an organization without an empowered GM resulted in a Superbowl title? I find this concerning. My prediction is in 3-4 years McDermott is shown the door, not because I don't believe in him but because I feel the Pegulas have set him up to fail. They have a lot of learning to do yet.
  20. I liked Days of Future Past. Haven't seen Apocalypse yet. The original cartoon with that gnarly theme song is the best though
