  1. I actually liked the show too, other than Shane McMahon being portrayed as better than world class pro fighters. Becky is a star, I thought she and Asuka had the best match. The womenfolk in general were the best parts of the show for me. It was great to see Double J too, by the way that's J-E-Double F, J-A-Double R-E-Double-T! Ain't he great?
  2. Bradbury and Lindstrom are becoming crushes for me. Do you have any thoughts on Erik McCoy, Center, A&M?
  3. Yeah getting overrated around here, I think. I remember Chris Simms saying the Chiefs should line Chris Jones up over Glowinski all day because he was the weak link on that line. Saffold is no superstar but he's a solid player and the better of the two.
  4. I'm no expert but when I watched he looked good to me. Always where he needed to be.
  5. They're all needs though, breh. It's not like running back at that time. Beans has talked about needing to be better up front and also talked about needing to provide Josh with better weapons. Both of those things must, and will happen.
  6. McDermott has been a wizard the last 2 years finding a way to field a good defense without a DL that's going to win matchups with any consistency. He's a master at diagnosing during the week the areas of the field an offense likes to attack and dropping guys into zones in the right places to make a QB hesitate. They also have a lot of ways to 'simulate pressure' (stunts/twists/games) to free guys up. But even so, the pass rush disappears for full games at times. A team like New England diagnoses what we do and coaches their guys up ahead of time on what to expect, and Brady has all day. At some point we're going to have to address the DL and get the horses that can actually win matchups up front. At some point we have to be the line with the better talent. It seems like in the 1st round, DL may be the best meeting of need and value.
  7. We need better players at WR, TE and OL. Is there really a need to define which is most important? All of those positions must be addressed this offseason, and all of them will be. The first round pick is not the only way to do it- there are 10 total draft picks, plus free agency, plus trades.
  8. I'm not so high on Zay Jones. He doesn't catch contested passes, lacks explosiveness and isn't even reliable on the easy ones. I'd like to see them bring in Golden Tate to play the slot- not only more reliable but far more dangerous after the catch too. No DC is staying up at night worrying about ZJ. Then either trade for, or draft someone to play outside opposite Foster. Push Zay down the depth chart. And I know it's easy to say "only 2 years he can get better" but I just don't see the upside here, he's physically just not a dangerous athlete at WR in addition to the dropsies. Foster was an excellent pickup.
  9. Most likely to..... Start someone other than his incumbent starting Quarterback* week 1: Flores. Runner-up, Zac Taylor. If I'm a fan of either of these teams I'm ready to try again in the draft. Be a 'one and done' Head Coach: Adam Gase Make the playoffs his first year: Bruce Arians. He has a chance to hit the ground running with a nice coaching staff there with Bowles as DC and an offense that scored points this year. Kitchens makes sense here too but hey, it's still the Browns. Win NFL Coach of the Year at some point in his first 3 years: Bruce Arians. I think he's a good coach Win a Superbowl in the job to which he has just been hired: I'll say LaFleur here. To me it was McCarthy's ancient offensive system that's been holding GB back. With Rodgers, will Hackett show more creativity and variance than he has with EJ/Orton/Bortles? They will at least be committed to the run now. Did Marrone have something to do with keeping those offenses simple? Hackett had some early success with Orton before the offense faded down the stretch and I believe he did somehow have the #6 scoring offense last year with Bortles. I think Rodgers is still the best QB on the planet and love Pettine coaching the D. Become Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills at some point in the future: Flores, of course! Grab your partner, it's the AFC East tango!
  10. The 'rather draft one' posts don't make any sense to me, we will have more than one TE on the roster.
  11. There's a lot Allen needs to improve on that has nothing to do with the OL. Yep OL was a problem, separate from that, the QB has a long way to go and a lot of improvement to make
  12. Thank you for making a seperate thread or I may well have missed it.
  13. That's where I am on Belichick but Brady I just find annoying.
