  1. If this doesn't work out surely the Pegulas will learn from it, they wouldn't handpick a third coach... I have no shortage of hope for either Derm or Beane, they're both smart guys and I was so glad to see them in on Brown! And apologies to our friend C.Biscuit but I love me some Brian Daboll. This guy went away from what he ideally wants to do in the passing game, adjusted to what Joshy Boy does well and put up 24 ppg and 360(?) ypg over like 8 weeks with a greenhorn QB and a bunch of ***t players. I'm glad he's a WNY guy and we were able to get him. Careful with that processed hype though I hear it can give you cancer Bad Guy
  2. They don't even do that right. Next time I hope they refrain from handpicking the coach.
  3. Yeah it's probably noon, seems to have been such going back to at least 2016
  4. Are you sure? This article indicates it started at noon last year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/theramswire.usatoday.com/2018/03/12/nfl-free-agency-legan-tampering-period-los-angeles-rams/amp/
  5. I'm sure they plan on competing some time in the next 3 years...how long do you think it takes?
  6. LT Dawk LG Long C Paradis/Morse RG Risner (RD2 trade-up) RT Daryl Williams / Ja'Wuan James
  7. LaCanfora makes no sense, this should not be a surprise to anyone. Beckham's deal is $18M in AAV so what kind of agent would not be in the 18-20M range for Brown? If the Bills or any other team was not willing to give him that kind of number that's perfectly fine, but they had no business even calling Pittsburgh to kick the tires. Much more likely the sticking point is length of the deal and/or percentage guaranteed. I have to think teams are down with it for 3 years but more than that, I could see teams not being comfortable at his age. And he's spoken publicly about guarantees so could be an issue there
  8. I think too much attention has gone to this word 'creative' that he threw in at one point. I came away from it feeling that the main thrust of what he was saying was 'hey, they have a specific plan to address the pass rush, I've even heard a name but can't share it. Stay tuned' kind of thing
  9. I have to think the Bills would be willing to make him the highest-paid WR on a 2- or 3-year deal. How could they justify to Rosenhaus not being willing to do that? But if he wants say a 5-year deal and the guarantees that go with that, then as badly as I want to see the Bills add that kind of talent, I can see why they'd balk.
  10. I saw him interviewed on Empire Sports Network years ago, he claimed to have once told a young Ric Flair, "Naitch, you need a walk!" Which resulted in Flair creating his famous strut. I always wondered whether he was working in character when he said that but regardless, he had me laughing and was charismatic and fun to listen to. I'd like to tell him thanks for the memory.
  11. Damn, three concussions since '17
  12. I wonder if Shady might come in handy here to say something to Brown about Buffalo. He's no longer in his prime but he's a guy who's liked and admired around the league
  13. Seems like AB himself may have put the kibosh on it. On Twitter he Liked a tweet that was all "LOLOL have fun in run first Buffalo."
  14. Yeah the thing in his favor is, he has the shield behind him being the NFLN guy. I don't remember Schefter being wrong about anything until he left NFL Network.
  15. Gettleman is still a joke. He passed on a crazy trade package from the Bills, if memory serves it was three 1sts and a second, to take a running back
  16. Good for Odell getting to a QB who can get him the ball. That dude will be thrilled if this is true
  17. Over The Cap has the Giants at $25.9M in cap space.
  18. Interesting that he said "the Bills would like to find a big, fast receiver" as if that's something he has heard, after the Bills downplayed that kind of thing in their press conferences.
