  1. I feel like it's a hybrid between NE's underneath stuff with screens (which will be much more prominent with the improved OL), shallow crosses, rub routes, TE posts and the like...combined with this run-n-shoot inspired, deep-zone-floodin' vertical passing game we had some success with last year, to fit Allen better. Daboll seems super adaptable to me.
  2. When thebandit calls someone a phenomenal signing, we all go a little bat****. You'll have to excuse us
  3. I know there are other options at DT Alpha, but if Quinnen gets down to 5 or 6 and they feel he can have a Donald / Fletcher Cox / Chris Jones impact? Suppose you can get it done for a 3rd and a 2020 2nd, maybe a bit more...is it really so outlandish?
  4. I don't know the trade chart but I'd be down for two 3rds, this year and next. Maybe could be talked into #9 and #40 to move up if absolutely forced, though I'd like to find a way to keep 40. He is an elite prospect who perfectly fits what we need, a penetrator to **** some plays up from the 3-tech. I don't think Shanahan takes him at 2, the question to me is the Jets at 3. Don't think Gruden goes that way at 4, and I believe TB at 5 and NYG at 6 are both 3-4 teams, though he might fit in with the Giants.
  5. If Quinnen Williams gets down to 5 or 6 I wonder if we try to make a play. I'm not sure which team actually picks him if the Cards go with Kyler at 1.
  6. Word, it could happen. In today's passing league with 235lbs. Mike linebackers how many teams can keep up with them for 60 minutes? The front 7 losses on the other side hurt, they'll need to be strong on D How devastating would that be to the Dawg Pound, losing a throwback game in a snowstorm to those damn Ravens lol
  7. It's cool what the Ravens are doing. They have Roman's brilliant run game scheme and these two battering ram, punishing halfbacks. As your defense tires out and doesn't tackle with the same vigor as the game goes on, they'll just keep rotating them in and out, keep them fresh and put you in the ground! **** thunder and lightning, we'll rotate thunder and more thunder and punch you straight in the nose. I'm not saying it's what I want my team to do, I wasn't high on Roman as an OC but it's still cool to see a team go this direction in 2019.
  8. You're probably right, that would explain it. He did noticeably fall off.
  9. Awesome! This is a great season to be at camp dude. Be sure to share with us the Doc on Duke report
  10. Rapaport now saying Zach Brown released. Pelissero saying multiple teams were interested in a trade but it didn't quite get done, "expect Brown to move quickly here."
  11. Tough to overstate the value of the Allen/Foster relationship we've found here, from the way their skills compliment one another to the chemistry they found from working together on the 2nd and 3rd team shifts in camp, and now together in the offseason. Duke has to earn a roster spot first man
  12. Four really good football teams in the AFC: Patties, Chiefs, Colts, Browns
  13. Ansah and Hughes togetha for sure. Get better rushing the passer rather than treading water
  14. I see. I didn't realize Sirles can play center, that helps him a lot because McDermott mentioned at the combine how for the sake of the active gameday roster, you don't want too many one-position offensive linemen, so I thought they may try and replace Bodine altogether with someone more capable at guard. I didn't think (Connor) McDermott looked great last year and they seemed to like Sirles better, you still interested in McDermott as a developmental guy?
  15. Can we get away with cutting Bodine? I'm also wondering if Boettger is a guy we can crosstrain at center
  16. Over The Cap has it at $3.2M https://overthecap.com/player/john-brown/3030/
  17. Exactly. We're finally becoming a pick-your-poison offense, in other words we're becoming difficult gameplan against and defend. As for the #1 WR thing, we can debate whether we have one and whether that's important all day, but I think functionally Robert Foster is going to be that guy. The chemistry in that Allen/Foster relationship is what coordinators are going to decide they MUST take away. "We just can't let them bomb away on us." But if you shade a single-high toward Foster, Brown is opened up. If you play two-deep then you have all kinds of issues-- Shady/Gore, Beasley, the TEs and of course Allen can kill you with his legs. The elite weapons are still missing so it may not be an elite offense, but we may still give D-Coordinators long, anxious work weeks, and with a good D we can win some football games, boys! Go Bills
  18. I'm open to it because he's so good in the passing game-- we couldn't sign Humphries? Okay, deal with Leveon motioning out to the slot.
  19. They really didn't want to go edge in the 1st round, must have their eye on someone
