  1. I said no because he doesn't seem like much of a pass rusher
  2. Burns showed he can play at that weight. His times were good and he moved well on the on-field stuff
  3. You think? He weighed at 249 at the combine and showed in his workouts he can actually play at that weight, unlike a lot of guys (Oliver, Kyler) who beef up for the weigh-in and then don't work out. Hughes is 255 if I remember correctly? I believe 249 is a 25 lbs. gain since the season so you'd think he could put on a little more at 6'5".
  4. It's easy to tell the guys who have done zero research on Burns. The ones who compare him to Maybin. Burns may be the best pure pass rusher in this class. Speed and flexibility to win outside, counter moves and technique to win across the face. Always has a rush plan. Polished and ready to go
  5. The Giants were in a position to rake us over the coals. We were worried our 2-year plan to trade talent and gain capital, including trading out of a chance to take Mahomes or Watson, had fallen apart and we were about to be locked out of a primo QB prospect. NYG could have extorted us.
  6. I love Burns but I don't think he's the prototype Beandermott look for.
  7. I'm thinking he would beat out Seantrel Henderson to start.
  8. I don't think it's a smokescreen, Gettleman really didn't sound like he's taking a QB in the 1st. They're actually going to try to win with Eli.
  9. Teller will be in an open competition with the likes of Feliciano and Boettger.
  10. Sure, if we can. I don't know whether the Jets would want to let us up there for a fair price.
  11. That is correct you win! That same dude that flamed out with 3 teams in 1 season
  12. Do you realize they put a 1st round tender on Corey Coleman for $4.4M? I'm glad I'm not a Giants fan.
  13. He's got some creativity after the catch too, far from just a run straight and get tackled type. He's not going to be just a deep threat
  14. I can see your perspective too, as always there are plenty of spots that can use an injection of young talent, though I do like the idea of adding special players rather than good players if that's the choice we're presented with. We don't necessarily need every single draft pick that we have, we've done a nice job of getting at least NFL calibre players mostly everywhere so can look for value. I'm open to staying put or even trading down too, we have a lot of flexibility in my opinion.
