  1. While that's true, there wasn't even anything newsy about this one If ever I'm going to make a thread maybe I should just stop and assume Yolo's got it
  2. I started a thread on this but you beat me to it Yolo! Seems to me like Teller is done-zo, or else why would Boettger go in instead of him with Josh on the field and the need to protect him? None of the reasons given so far are very compelling. Seems Boettger has passed him
  3. If Duke Williams is a better blocker than Jason Croom then why would they keep Croom over him? Duke can play some specials and as Gunner alluded to, they have been using him almost like a tight end at times, lining him up in a tight slot position not far from the OT. I think if Kroft is on the PUP it opens the door for them to keep Duke as a sort of big receiver/TE hybrid. Croom has the "TE" label so it looks more normal on the depth chart to keep him but he can't really play in-line anyway. Duke may be the more useful player now and the player with more upside. I also thought Jordan Phillips had a good night to cap a nice preseason for him, he looks better than last year. He's working hard to get that money in the offseason and we're going to benefit for it...
  4. Oh I gave the laughing reaction because I thought he was making a good joke
  5. Wow this is going to be an interesting one. Lacey has come a really long way in a year, Alexander they like for specials, Stanford I've been thinking will make it to be safe at the Mike and Joseph has the upside. I thought they'd keep 7 but now 2 of those 4 have to go. I think Maurice Alexander is out but interested to see who the other is
  6. I think you're dead wrong about this. Daboll was so desperate for a pure blocking TE last year he used Dawkins and Sirles in the role. Then this offseason they're connected with multiple blockers, sign Jake Fisher, then pounce on Smith immediately when he becomes available. There is clearly a role for him in this offense, it's just not a flashy role that's going to grab headlines over the summer.
  7. OT and Punter are the only positions I could see them poaching another team's cut. OT depth is just lacking. Ford's development has gone a little more slowly than they'd originally hoped and Waddle was supposed to be the failsafe
  8. So according to this he will need to pass through waivers.
  9. Makes a great deal more sense this way than Buffalo having exclusive rights even if they cut him. Yes he was allocated to the Bills but if they choose to release him and another club wants him on the 53, he should be fair game through waivers in my opinion. I'd still love to see clear confirmation one way or another
  10. Crowded LB room right now, there are about 9 guys who could conceivably make a roster
  11. I always thought Milano was the Will linebacker.
  12. Giving up on C McDermott for a new project maybe
  13. I think Darryl Johnson is making this team.
  14. I thought Boettger looked good too
  15. Man I can't wait to see Oliver on that NFLN replay
  16. He was real positive about Tyrod as a passer, too
  17. Yes! That dude that made it must be super smart. It was fun and obsessive haha I remember pushing Test to the moon! Wrestlemania main event
  18. That was great! His interactions with the crowd are generally fantastic. I'd love to see him beat Okada in their G-1 match and then get to headline a show with him in a title match afterward. Even if the Rainmaker retained the belt I'd love to watch Archer get that first win and then watch it unfold- he's crushing it! edit- I'm not feeling KENTA for some reason, just finding his matches boring. People online seem to like him, different strokes I guess. I think he has Okada Saturday which I'm sure will be good though haha Since you're into the history, I happened upon this video yesterday. I've never been a huge Lesnar guy but I found it fascinating, it tells the story of New Japan from the nineties to the modern era and how the company couldn't sell seats and was on the brink of collapse, and how the New Japan we see today came from that.
  19. I played EWR! Burned so many hours playing that game. It's still free on EWBattleground. Omega and Jericho had a match in Japan yes, then a rematch in AEW. He's a fantastic wrestler but also a genuinely grateful, humble guy who many find easy to like. He went the extra miles to learn the Japanese culture (which is ceremonial and we might say rigid in some ways) and cut promos in fluent Japanese and really won people's respect over his years there.
  20. Awesome!! As Cody Rhodes said, no one company, entity or individual owns pro wrestling...we own pro wrestling! There's so much great wrestling going on both domestic and abroad in 2019. I just signed back up on NJPWWorld for the G-1, it's my first time keeping up with the G-1 live and it's been fun! Lance Archer has been putting on a SHOW every time he goes out, I'm loving his new character. Okada and Will Ospreay just had a bonkers match a few days ago, also it's super cool seeing Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) mixing it up with these guys, he and Tomohiro Ishii recently had an awesome slugfest. The G-1 is my favorite time of the year for New Japan, every match in the tournament is a fun watch You're inspiring me though, I might need to go back and watch some of the older stuff. Cheers!
  21. It's funny, I actually didn't like the match at Dominion as much as I did some of the previous ones. Glad to hear you're watching the whole series! I think you'll enjoy.
