And it's a perfect fit, as Brady's arm declines and he throws downfield less and less they pick up the most dangerous short catch and long run weapon in the league making it easy on the aging QB. Yup. You're not going to screw around and see what this random 3rd teamer does with the starters! when the franchise QB is on the field. It was an indication Boettger was ahead. Beane said "not that we were going to cut Wyatt" so maybe he was still making the roster over McDermott, they did try him out at RT in game 3 second half. I agree Boettger isn't going anywhere, I think they like him, especially now he can play Center

I can understand all of it except the Conor McDermott one. I don't know what they see in this guy? He's been on the roster 'developing' for 2 years and he got his chance to play against real players in the 3rd PS game and looked awful. After 2 years he's not an acceptable 4th OT so it's a good thing we may have a find in Ryan Bates. He may be gone in the next couple days as he's the 10th OL but even so, there were a number of cuts I woulda preferred they kept instead. I know they're pros and I do like Beane and all so JMO
