  1. I'm hoping they can get Shaq back but I think J.Phillips is worth more to a team that doesn't have Ed Oliver and is desperate for some pass rush juice inside.
  2. Last year they payed a couple free agents $9M (Brown) and $11M (Morse) but you know for a fact they would never under any circumstances give two free agents $11M each? And Lotulelei's contract shows they can invest at 1-tech, once he's off the books they pay Reader a similar cap percentage allotment that they've already been paying Lotulelei but for far superior play.
  3. I heard him talk about it briefly on one of their pods, it was his name on some message board in the early days of the internet and he just kept using it because people knew him as that name. I like him too, he, Joe Marino and Nate Geary are my favorite Bills analysts out there.
  4. If Spotrac's figure of $82M in cap space is correct, they could give Reader and a RT 11 each and still have $60M free. After this year Star is gone and the allotment devoted to 1-tech goes back down. I guess I don't see the concern.
  5. When you get to the postseason, you can be forced to play a team like Baltimore, Indianapolis or San Francisco with excellent O-lines and well-coached, versatile running games. You need physical defensive tackles who can compete with elite offensive linemen, push people around and make plays. Beane is trying to win a world championship, not an award for most unused cap space. In a year they can get out of Star's deal and they'd instead pay Reader a similar percentage of cap space that they've already been paying Star, but for far superior play. If they're going to keep Edmunds in the middle it might be a good idea to actually make 1-tech a position of strength rather than just passable.
  6. Star isn't great and they're out of his contract in a year and Phillips is off the injury, we could stand to be more stout up front. Derm and Beane talk a lot about owning the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
  7. Having mediocrity at quarterback would make Belichick cackle like the devil? Tf is Cowherd talking about
  8. I imagine it could help Frazier get more HC interviews around the league
  9. Yup. They'll probably do something at corner too.
  10. Keith Ford truck stick
  11. Excellent post! The time has come for the Bills to be aggressive about adding elite talent and attempt to win a championship.
  12. WWE is not the only wrestling company. There's a lot of great wrestling out there if it's the kind of thing you're into.
  13. Did Ford ever play LG in college? I've been thinking that if he were to move inside it would be to RG with Feliciano flipping to the left side. All of Ford's reps were on the right side last year so wouldn't you want to continue his work there rather than making it more difficult on him. Feliciano when he signed was adamant he could play all 3 interior spots.
  14. Edge coming back was so cool! Happy for him.
  15. I think it's because the ball is a foot long
  16. 1. I love the Bills 2. No I don't remember that, too long ago
  17. Remember when the team used to inexplicably cut useful players right before the season started to save money even when the cap was not an issue? Ralph sucked and the Bills were a joke because of him.
  18. It's just a futures contract. You're adjusting the batter's average based on how his swings look in the on-deck circle.
  19. He coached Kawann Short in this scheme Short's entire career, I hope he's good for Ed.
  20. Green is more process-friendly than Cooper, I don't expect them to spend big on a guy who won't be a culture leader so to speak. Your highest paid players are your defacto leaders everyone looks up to.
