This is the right way to think about the draft-- don't reach, get someone in the top basket/tier still available. That's why I want them to trade up.

Kyle Shanahan and Chris Simms were college roommates and teammates and remain friends, Shanahan was his first guest on his podcast when he moved to NBC, I highly doubt Kyle is giving him bad info. Simms never breaks news he's just an analyst, he just has info here because of his boy.

Both Marino and his colleague at Draft Network, Kyle Crabbs, have been approached more than once to get involved with scouting for a team at the entry level and passed. They're having a great time and making good money scouting football players for a living the way it is and dont have to worry about their regime being fired.

The onside kick conversion percentage has gotten too low because of the safety rules, I'm sure that's why the Eagles want an alternative. How do you convert an onside kick with your guys evenly spaced out across the field and with them not moving until the ball is kicked? The only chance is for the opponent to badly misplay the ball, it's too rare.
