Sort of along the lines of the post above me, apparently The Batman is a different continuity/universe than the Joker movie. soooo...they're going to re-cast the Joker character again soon? lol It's hard to think The Batman trilogy wouldn't use the Joker in some form after all, the character is so money

I agree! Inspired casting, that. Great fit I think you'd have to be disturbed/traumatized to become Batman. What strange thing to do with your life. Especially for a billionaire

Pete Carroll vs Greggo

Belichick is an active coach and Martindale is an active DC, Pees just retired this off-season I believe so has been active the whole time Gregg was supposedly establishing himself as the guru -

Wink Martindale, Dean Pees, Bill Belichick? -
I previously advocated letting him walk assuming he would get at least 12-13m AAV but I was thinking yesterday that, considering his humble lifestyle, he may have different priorities than others and may be the type to take lower numbers to stay in a place and situation where he's happy. If it's around say $9-10m can we pass it up?

I agree hes better than Bradham and will get a lot more money. The defense regressed so much because he's not being replaced by an equivalent player. It's always either trash or it's Lorenzo Alexander moving into a role he's not suited for. But who was Matt Milano before McDermott and Frazier got him? Just a midround pick nobody wanted. I think they can do that again and save a truckload.

Bill Barnwell on Josh Allen

I seriously doubt Tyrod makes all those 4Q comebacks/game-winning drives. He was a Trentative check down artist and would usually shrink and crumble when asked to win the game for you. Allen plays his best ball at winning time. -
When I looked last night New England was the favorite with the sportsbooks-- if someone were to be right about Buffalo winning the AFCE they could cash in at 1.5-1.6x their wager amount. New England was down around -110. I actually do agree with your thesis here and was hoping for an upgrade at backup QB with all that cap room we came into the off-season with. Before it got started I was hoping Ryan Fitzpatrick might somehow shake loose, then I wanted your boy Flacco! Or Jameis. I have a degree of trust in the Bills' FO and coaches but I must admit I am unable to arrive at the same conclusion independently pertaining to why are they so comfortable with Matt Barkley.

The weakness of Coach McD
2020 Our Year For Sure replied to WIDE LEFT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah end of half is definitely a spot he needs to be more aggressive, especially with Josh in year 3 throwing to a group like Diggs/Brown/Beasley/Knox/Moss. It's time to take off the training wheels. I think Derm knows this though, I really do. -

Or maybe we're not mature enough yet. When I imagine all of humankind as a single organism, I imagine us like a 4-year-old just barely come conscious, prone to emotional tirades, pointless destructive behavior and the like, and not caring properly for our brothers and sisters. It seems reasonable to hypothesize that when humankind is more mature, a system of government that did not work when we were an ignorant child could work when we are more emotionally/spiritually developed. After all we as individuals need different forms of guidance at different points in our life, so why not the same for us collectively? edit- come to think of it, this is Sean McDermott's "growth mindset" taken to its logical conclusion. It's about seeing things as in process, or developing, rather than fixed.
