  1. Could well be gone, any thoughts on Dirk Koetter? Most interesting guy I've been able to think of.
  2. I say watch on regular TV, Sean McDermott doesn't coach conservatively and neither should you; play fearless.
  3. Brian Dabollical out here with inventiveness in the ground game
  4. https://www.sharpfootballstats.com/personnel-grouping-frequency.html Through 2 weeks they're still in 11 73% of plays, good for 4th(t) in the league. It's good they're mixing in 12 in an effort to protect their 3-wide sets they really want to run. Listening to Simms break down their Eagles film, they've added to their runnjng game which used to just be inside/outside zone and jet sweeps, now they're running some toss crack, pulling guards and trap plays mixed in. He says both weeks they've killed their opponent with PA pass that looks like a run because they pull a guard and the OL sells it; that should be bog standard for McDermott's crew, they practice against Daboll who does that all the time. Maybe I'm over confident in Sean McDermott but I feel the Rams' changes will ***** up some lesser coordinators but he is going to diagnose it and put his guys in position for a big bounce-back game.
  5. I love McVay, respect him a lot but I think McDermott is about to ***** him up. In the Superbowl he wasn't ready for Belichick to have diagnosed his stuff and have his guys prepared for it and not-fooled by the 'window dressing.' McVay had no answers, no adjustments. According to film junky Chris Simms the Rams have a number of new wrinkles that have helped their O get off to a fast start here but I think Derm sees through it and has his men prepared in a way McVay is not ready for. Their LG being out will hurt them; not just the rush Goff struggles with but their run game has always been essential to their offense. Left guard was their weak spot last year after losing Roger Saffold. I think the Bills win this one, boys.
  6. Everybody keeps saying they'll switch to 1 linebacker but I disagree, I think they have enough confidence in both Klein and Dodson that we'll see them on the field together plenty. I was telling my Dad last night though that I don't think they'll play three LBs at all, they'll use Neal or Marlowe instead of the third LB.
  7. too much running and covering, and playing in space in this scheme.
  8. Also worth mentioning: wind. Hauschka over time got very good at playing the Bills Stadium wind after figuring out his plan of adjustment early in the day, and monitoring it as the game began. The wind seemed to play a major part in the fake miss being as close as it was; this is a season with high expectations but even so we can afford a little patience here.
  9. Yeah I wanted Green but I have to say he's a shell of what he was, at this point. He would have made some of those catches a couple years ago i.e. the back shoulder throw. Good thing we got Diggsy.
  10. I love Inception too, great job in not getting too caught in the ideas / sci-fi elements but also telling an impactful human story along with it. The Mal character and her arch is still haunting to me whenever I think about it. I love the ending too
  11. I've sort of been thinking Dodson is the first linebacker in if anyone gets injured, surprised to see you're expecting him inactive.
  12. I thought Boehm would be the backup center because Bobby Johnson but I guess it's Bates for now ?
  13. Seems not. Someone commented on Twitter the Colts are like 10th in cap space still because of low dead cap.
  14. Yeah, its been reported Marlowe and 'Dre Roberts will both be back today so while I was anticipating 6 corners, 5 seems fine if that's what they choose. They'll have multiple DBs they like on the practice squad they can use freely with the new rule if need be.
  15. I think Sweeney is already on PUP and doesn't count on the 53. Wondering if Taiwan Jones may be headed to IR-R.
  16. I think Dean Pees' retirement is potentially a huge loss for them. Vrabel decided not to hire a defensive coordinator so the situation is very much up in the air, last I checked nobody was sure who will even call the defenses. If it's Vrabel himself he's putting a lot on his plate trying to replace one of the top DCs in the game.
  17. And had 4 INTs in a season in Lovie's Cover 2 so maybe part of what Sean & Co. like is the speed combined with good instincts in zone coverage.
