Bills re-sign Taiwan Jones

What makes him a good special teamer? I feel like he's not very good at tracking the ball and keeping it out of the endzone. -
Are you scared of the CAP?

You are absolutely correct, Bills fans are overly cap conscious. Just like we're overly focused on linebackers and running/stopping the run. We more than anything wanted to support our football team during the two decades of Ralph Wilson's penny-pinching incompetence. Psychological dissonance occured; we chose to buy into fiscal cowardice and "not mortgaging the future" (a term I've read on here about 8 billion times) rather than questioning the football operation. You would not believe how many folks here didn't want to acquire Stefon Diggs because Beane shouldn't "mortgage the future" whatever the ***** that means. It was astonishing. -
My understanding is it's a lot more nutritious eaten raw than cooked.

Re: the bolded It could just be one race with tech far above our own that hides/repels these signals without our knowledge. It might seem unlikely but it can't be proven wrong indubitably. To say we know with certainty one way or the other would be to indulge in cult-like wishful thinking rather than sticking to the facts.

Thing is like we don't even understand our own reality. What is the percentage of matter that is dark matter or whatever? And nothing at the quantum level makes any sense. And there's things we don't know about black holes. We don't know how many dimensions there are. Etc. I think it's typical human arrogance that we've seen through the ages to say we know for a fact that life only exists on this planet, similar to we know for a fact the universe revolves around the earth. The only logical thing is to leave the door cracked open and acknowledge hey, there could be something we're missing here that we just have no concept of. I think that to say we know for a lockdown FACT that life only exists here is every bit as wishful thinking and cult-like as any "believer" or any religious group...it's just not logical. "We don't know what we don't know" kind of thing.

Vernon Butler takes pay cut

Star isn't some irreplaceable force against the run, I've seen him get blown way off the ball plenty of times. We only missed him because we had no 1-techs and had to play pure slashers/penetrators out of position. Star is a replacement-level 1T which is what we needed-- Ed Oliver actually somehow holds his ground vs. double teams better than Star does but Oliver has actual potential so it's no bueno to waste his talent in such a role. -

Knox has potential and I'm optimistic but for now he has lost Allen's trust because of all the drops. The wide open drops have hurt the offense and the team. You can see Josh hesitant to throw to him and as you say, he'll pass up an open Knox for a not-wide-open WR at times. It's going to take a higher level of performance from Dawss to earn that trust back over time. I was very excited when the Bills took Knox in the draft from listening to Matt Miller's podcast and again, still optimistic he can get it together. -
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-denied-eagles-permission-to-interview-brian-daboll-prior-to-philadelphia-hiring-nick-sirianni/amp/ How many teams inquired, found out he wasn't interested, and moved on before submitting a formal request form? Probably closer to 7 teams interested than to 2, I'd say. This thread is deceptive and is a non-story but it's funny to see how desperate @BADOLBILZ and @BillsVet are to push a narrative.

If you didn't watch the Marvel Avengers etc. movies then no, I wouldn't imagine so. Maybe you'll get a kick out of the 50s/60s stuff but other than that it's going to be confusing and I imagine not worth the investment to learn the backstory-- there are better things you could watch that are made to stand alone. This is very much made to be part of a greater universe. Jmo

Thanks, I haven't watched the latest one yet. I hope you'll let me know what you think of Undone, I thought it was done a with a real sensitivity and insight into interpersonal relationships and just being human that was quite moving, with an interesting sci-fi/spiritual backdrop. X-Men is the one comic book I've dabbled in, I've loved them since I saw the cartoon as a kid but I don't know it well enough to know what you mean I guess! I was wondering if the Shadow King may be in play again but I've heard murmurs it's something different.

I've enjoyed other reality-benders more like Undone (Amazon) and Legion (FX/Hulu), this is sort of a Disneyfied more kid-friendly version IMO. It's a fun show though, I especially enjoyed the first couple episodes spoofing the 50s and 60s with the real world sort of knocking on the door mysteriously. Bettany is talented and Olsen really is lovely.

Nate Geary recently guested on Locked On Bills with Joe Marino and their conversation was just loaded with real good analysis. Geary feels the O-line and (my boy) Daboll share equal blame for the run game struggles...a point I thought was interesting was that he said we ran less gap/power runs and actually ran a lot of outside zone this year. His opinion was that you shouldn't run so much outside zone with Singletary and Moss because they don't have the footspeed to really threaten the edge. With those backs he said you should work largely inside the tackle box. He said if Fred Warner is on the other side and you run outside zone, Warner can just slowplay and force the HB to commit to a hole first, and then just go make the tackle. Because he's not afraid of those guys getting the edge on him he never has to over-pursue and open up a cutback lane the way outside zone is designed for. He thinks they're limited in what they can do with these HBs. -

Well done eball, predicting 12 wins is very much going against the odds. I don't care that you didn't feel like betting actual money, its still a hell of a prediction.
