They're not keeping more than 9 DL. It used to always be 8 every year if you recall. When I did my roster I cut Butler, H. Phillips and D. Johnson, keeping six DEs and only three dedicated DTs. I think they'd like to keep Harrison Phillips because he's bigger than the others but I don't know who they cut to do it. Addison may be most likely but I think they like having him around. DL is finally fun to follow.

I mean two throws are only two throws, I'm sure Tyrod and Trent Edwards threw it downfield a couple times in a practice session too. We don't really know.

If Mitch is checking down a lot I can imagine that might look more impressive to some observers than others.

I'd love to see Breida take Jones' spot, I've never actually seen any evidence Jones is this amazing gunner. I've seen him fall asleep and let the ball get into the end zone before. In the Bojorquez era we were bad at pinning teams; most of that is on the kicker but coverage had its moments too.

I honestly think a WR with good speed is a bigger need than anything on defense. Our D is fine? It's impossible to play dominant defense these days anyway, there's no point trying to re-create the 2000 Ravens or something. A much more urgent concern to me is that we could not score points in Kansas City and we lack speed at WR to keep the safeties back. You're supposed to be able to score points in today's NFL, you're not supposed to have a dominant defense-- nobody does.

I feel like there was one in the last few years because I remember being surprised to learn they'd play it out.

I definitely don't need overtime in the preseason lol

Brown gave the Bills nothing against the Chiefs and we couldn't score, Sanders is durable.
