  1. Shrug. We'll see what happens? It's just one game anyway
  2. Romo is great. You'd see it if he had a better partner than Nantz who bizarrely likes to "correct" him by being pedantic about word choices. There's a little friction there with the two of them because Nantz doesn't just look at Romo as an expert he should get the most juice out of, instead he wants to prove himself and get one over on him. Romo and Buck or Michaels would be great. Those latter two are professionals. Buck has been generously and kindly carrying Aikman through these broadcasts for years.
  3. Typically if you let McDermott/Frazier focus only on the run, they can stop it. It's the balanced teams that give them trouble on the ground. Passing is about matchups, running is about numbers. Our D usually responds well when a team is one-dimensional and allows us to come up and play the run, and Edmunds doesn't need to worry much about receivers getting behind him off play action. So if the weather almost completely neutralizes Mac Jones while Allen is hampered but still capable, I like our chances.
  4. Chiefs fans are louder, to be honest. Matt played in KC so I get where he's coming from.
  5. I think Buck is a quality broadcaster but Aikman is the pits.
  6. Nobody can hit in Citi Field so best become a pitching team.
  7. Don't wanna lose the fastball.
  8. Moss is actually a better pass catcher than Singletary, just talking about the act of actually catching the ball. Moss has better hands, it comes more easily. Singletary often doesn't catch it cleanly, it doesn't come naturally for him and as a result he's got a few big drops already in his career.
  9. In a way he does transform the offense. His aptitude for the outside zone transforms an Ike Boettger from a liability into a decent run blocker, and he transforms Mitch Morse into a really good run blocker. Outside zone doesn't work well with the other two backs so you can't run it much, hence transformation. Not like we were running it every play in NOLA but it's an added wrinkle.
  10. Ed is the one guy with a chance to compensate for losing Tre White. If he breaks out into stardom and brings heat up the middle even against good offenses and good O-lines, that'll do it. He is the player to watch on defense right now.
  11. Whichever one has Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.
  12. He still gets over excited and tries to do too much. Essentially, he's still a kid. Still really, really good but he has another level in him. I feel like a good sports psychologist might be able to help.
  13. Is the freakin' punter showing up his receiver there with his body language or is he just whining to the refs?
  14. No I mean Brian Daboll. The Seahawks have a great quarterback but they're not a modernized offense. See Green Bay under Mike McCarthy. The Bills are a modern offense with modern passing concepts
  15. Daboll is the most underrated member of the entire organization. He is responsible for finally bringing this franchise into the modern century.
  16. Yeah McKenzie always makes me nervous the way he looks fielding it.
  17. He's even better than last year with Haack in and Bojorquez out. Meanwhile Green Bay's kicking game with Bojorquez has been awful.
  18. Did he fumble twice? I was at the game and couldn't always tell who it was.
  19. Human psychology is affected by appearance. Got some lizard people in mind to sign to replace them?
  20. Ooooh and the Jets have Crowder too, he's a good player.
  21. Confidence and performance are meaningless to the outcome?
  22. https://www.changingfaces.org.uk/advice-guidance/confidence-self-esteem/appearance-self-esteem/ "Physical appearance and self-esteem are often closely linked. Our perception of how we look can have a big impact on the value we place on ourselves and how much self-confidence we have in our day-to-day lives." https://brainfodder.org/psychology-clothes-enclothed-cognition/ "Science says that the clothes we wear affect our behavior, attitudes, personality, mood, confidence, and even the way we interact with others. This is “Enclothed Cognition“." Is it really so hard to believe the way you look can affect the way you feel?
  23. That got me lathered up. I'm over here like Are you saying Derm actually called out the unis? Grateful to be lucky enough to see a W here in NJ Sunday
