  1. How does Losman pointing out that he isn't the one blocking or calling the plays cause you to question Losman's ability to "diagnose a game and act accordingly"? I'm not seeing the connection.
  2. If it was Clements you'd be speaking of his nose for the football and playmaking ability. Heaven forbid you give McGee some credit once in awhile. If it weren't for his unique abilities, this game could have gotten ugly. I just wish he made one more cutback on that kick return.
  3. Tripplett? What has he done to show he belongs in that group?
  4. There's that, and there's the fact that we're afraid to call pass plays because nearly every time we do its either a sack or a pass that has to be made without a pocket to step up into. Not to mention we don't have one good recieving option at ANY of the eligible positions. I'm not an "anybody but Losman" blind apologist. I'm simply reserving judgment on him because from my observations, he still hasn't been given a realistic oppurtunity.
  5. I hope there's also room for your sig.
  6. How can you be consistent...at times? Either you're consistent or you're not.
  7. Heard this one a few years ago, only it was the Jets instead of the Bills. Its a good one.
  8. "The bus broke down, I swear. Our guys were excited for this game, and this enire incident is a big dissappointment..."
  9. You're so consistent. Week in and week out, you show up and deliver. I do hope you realize you've become one of my favorite posters.
  10. Oh, so when JP plays well they'll show him in a positive light, bt right now he's playing like a turd, so they're speaking about him negatively. Damn those reporters!
  11. Exactly! "Nothing but thugs, wannabes and dull minds." These aren't the terms that come to mind when I think of London Fletcher and Takeo Spikes.
  12. I don't have a replay of the game available to me, but I thought I noticed Peters getting beaten by KGB on the outside speed rush once or twice. I guess those didn't end up accounting for sacks though. From what I could tell, Gandy was solid, and both of them looked good in the running game.
  13. Yeah, Matt "Schawb" is "steller."
  14. Yup. With the exception of Josh Reed, I can't see any of our current receivers being capable of shielding the defender off to help JP complete those kind of routes. Definitely not the contact-avoiding Price or the undersized Parrish, and probably not Evans either. With that all said, though, I'd still like to see them try a quick slant once in awhile because these deeper drops aren't working. With the combination of weak pass protection and an inexperienced quarterback whose being told to stay in the pocket, these deep drops are brutal. And if we can't specifically complete slants with these receivers, we should run some quick crosses, outs, and those WR screens we were running earlier in the year.
  15. They could have at least used "Little Pink Houses"...
  16. 822177[/snapback] Exactly. You said he made a mistake by not adding "prematured" in between "my" and "system". I'm just saying he didn't make a mistake, he merely chose to be less descriptive than you were. Omitting an adjective isn't a mistake, its just being more general. Therefore, by calling him out on a mistake that didn't exist, you were the one making the mistake.
  17. Actually, its his system, whether its "prematured" or not. You're both correct.
  18. I can't understand your thinking here Dax. If I have to win a big game against a tough defense, I'm taking Brady. I'm taking the guy whose successfully navigated the playoffs several times over the guy who falls on his face whenever he faces the Pats with superbowl hopes on the line. I'd throw those nice, shiny statistics of yours out the window because I want the guy who just finds a way to win the big games no matter what. You say Manning is the best "pure QB." What do you mean by that? I'd say he's closer to a classic prototypical quarterback...but Brady's still better. However, Manning is still a close 2nd and nobody else comes close to the two of them.
  19. Hey Joe, where you goin' with that gun in your hand? Hey Joe, I said where you goin' with that gun in your hand? Alright. I'm goin down to shoot my old lady, you know I caught her messin' 'round with another man. Yeah, I'm goin' down to shoot my old lady, you know I caught her messin' 'round with another man. Huh! And that ain't too cool. Hey Joe, I heard you shot your woman down, you shot her down. Hey Joe, I heard you shot you old lady down, you shot her down to the ground. Yes, I did, I shot her, you know I caught her messin' 'round, messin' 'round town. Uh, yes I did, I shot her you know I caught my old lady messin' 'round town. And I gave her the gun and I shot her! Alright Ah! Hey Joe! Shoot her one more time again, baby! Yeah! Joe where you gonna go? Oh, alright. Hey Joe, said now, uh, where you gonna run to now, where you gonna run to? Yeah, where you gonna go? Hey Joe, I said, where you goin' to run to now, where you, where you gonna go?
  20. Slightly off topic, but do you have numbers to back that up? I'd be interesting in seeing that. These posts need to go away. Those fans just don't exist.
  21. Am I the only one who finds himself not caring who the hell Whitner's backup is? Wire will be cheaper and he's good on the coverage teams, lets keep him and cut Bowen.
  22. Look through the thread and show me the post where somebody said McGahee is in the same league as Thurman. You're likely referring to Dax, who merely said McGahee's lack of heart and passion is a misconception. You're fighting a straw man that you built all on your own.
  23. Is there really a question here? Of course its Gandy, he'll need some sort of psychological and/or career help when we cut his a'ss.
