Who wil be the 6 playoff teams in the AFC

Tell me about it. What a mess! We may limp into the playoffs due to Milwaukee collapsing even more violently than we have. Wagner's injury is such a shame. -
Tim Graham. What do you know that we don't?

George Wilson? Bryan Scott? As Lori pointed out, Copeland Bryan? Steve Johnson? If they wanted to give Crowell a chance to come back, they could have found a way. -

To me, half the fun of being a fan is partaking in overenthusiastic, rampant speculation. The players and coaches need to have tunnel vision and be 100% focused on the Raiders...but the beauty of my role is that I don't have to be, and no incredible speculation I come up with will change the team's destiny. I've never understood the "stop! lets just win this game!" attitude. Nothing we talk about will change anything, so why not talk? -

This. Same goes for Indy winning 12 imo. Not with the defense playing the way it has, and now without Bob Sanders. They may beat out the Titans, but I don't see them winning 12. -
Who should I start?
2020 Our Year For Sure replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in Fantasy Football
Yeah, I was actually carrying 3 QBs for the first couple weeks cause I wasn't 100% sure any of them would be legit starters. I still have Cutler and Matt Schaub. Too late regarding DeSean Jackson, he got scooped up after his big week 1. I just added Vincent Jackson, and I'll have to find another bye week fill-in. Maybe David Patten if Colston is still out, they have a good matchup that week. -

Instead of making a new thread, I'll just ask this here. We start 3 WRs, and my starters are currently Chad Johnson, Lee Evans and Dwayne Bowe. I've just dealt Kurt Warner and Kevin Walter to add Santonio Holmes. I figure if Chad Johnson gets back to form, I'll have an extra WR to trade, and if he doesn't, I've just replaced him. One problem is my daunting week 6 on the horizon: Marshawn Lynch, Larry Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Lee Evans, Santonio Holmes, and Bills D will all be out for their bye week. How did I do? Fair value for Warner? -
Definitely wouldn't give up Lynch here, and wouldn't want to let Turner go either. Assuming you start one QB, you should be able to get something done with Chris Johnson or TJ. If the guy really plays hardball, I may consider Turner for Cutler, that doesn't seem out of the question. McNabb wouldn't be worth it imho.

I agree that Edwards was slightly outplayed in each of these games. But is it me, or do the numbers not reflect the point you're trying to make? In what world is 9/24, 137 yards drastically better than 13/33, 124 yards? And the fact that the Bills were outrushed in both games only furthers the idea that Edwards played as well as those guys, because he had a lesser running game backing him. The same goes for the numbers in the Giants game. Since when is 7/15, 134 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs, soooo much better than 9/26, 161 yards, 2 TDs and 3 INTs? It seems to me all four performances were pretty close to each other (in other words, equally lousy). Edwards may have been slightly outplayed, but I could never say from those numbers Eli and Anderson played well, and Edwards played poorly. Those numbers put them close enough that you'd have to group all four performances together. Then again, its not all in the numbers. Just playing devil's advocate to this particular post. -
As BuffO said, there's nothing wrong with starting Edwards this week and letting Palmer try to get his groove back from your bench. I'm doing the same, giving Kevin Walter the nod over Chad Johnson. Personally I think its gotta get a little better than this in Cincy. These three guys are too talented.

Even in a two-QB league, ya gotta pull the trigger and get Tomlinson, particularly considering your RB situation. I'm not high on Garrard at all and I love Rodgers, but this is a deal you can't refuse. Garrard ought to at least make for a passable QB2.

We're as legitimate a contender as any other AFC team. I can't think of any that are CLEARLY better than us. Thats not to say things can't change...we can go 2-14 and pick first in the draft. But that wouldn't change the fact that, as of September 18, we ARE contenders.

Somebody help me, please, my head is spinning. When did it become true that every post about Trent Edwards is really about JP Losman? -

:pirate: There's no way I'm reading 5 more pages of this crap to catch up, but I thought I'd pay tribute anyway. -
Yeah same interview. The Bills question came a bit after that, I believe. Something I forgot to mention before, he also said he doesn't like the Patsterisks without Brady*. He said that playing the dink and dunk game with Cassel against NYJ showed that they don't have the confidence in him to let him run the normal offense, and once teams see that on film and adjust accordingly, teams will cheat up to take that away, and he'll be unable to make plays downfield. Said that unlike Brady* when he first came in, Cassel's "head will be swimming," and he'll falter. We'll see. Lets hope Jon Ritchie is a genius.

ESPN First Take had former Eagles and Raiders FB Jon Ritchie on just now. They asked him who out of the surprise 2-0 teams we should really look out for. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the guy got positively giddy, and he almost cut off the anchor and said, "I. Love. The Bills." In addition to whats in the title, he also said he thinks Lynch will have a monster year even though his stats are nothing special so far, and that Peters being back in the fold should help him. Said the big guys up front love blocking for Lynch. Ritchie said he loves the defense and that they'll create plenty of turnovers. Said this is a team that has "everything going on right now." WRT Edwards, he joked he may be a bit biased being a Stanford guy, but that Edwards diagnoses defenses "like nobody's business." The anchor was surprised when he said Edwards will be the next Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but Ritchie nodded and repeated himself with conviction. Think I remembered most of it...just thought I'd pass it along. No matter what some of you say, I think its nice to hear stuff like this about your team once in awhile. Go Bills!

So he's right. We're 1 for 3 converting short yardage on the ground. Thats been a problem for us for awhile now. We're seemingly more likely to pick up a 3rd and 1 or 2 by throwing than we are by running. -

I believe Fargas is out, and McFadden is expected to play. They'll use Bush quite a bit between the tackles.
