This argument is ludicrous. Young or old, we've all been sitting here watching this team spin their tires in the mud for the last 10 years. Maybe I didn't see 0 for the 70s, but for a young fan, I've got plenty of experience in being disappointed by this team. Every Bills fan knows what its like to lose, and every Bills fan wants nothing more and nothing less then to see this team win games.

When Springs says single coverage, I'm not sure he's talking about the pure single coverage you're talking about, Dean. I think he just means non-double coverage, i.e. a single corner on TO with safety help over the top, but that safety pays no special attention to TO that he wouldn't give to any other reciever. Could be wrong.

Its a defense mechanism, I think. They say it over and over, so if it happens, they can tell themselves, "Well I always said it would happen. At least I'm not surprised." My father does the same thing leading up to every game. When they lose, its, "Well I knew they were going to lose." Its a way to make it so they don't have to fall as far.
