I give it a solid A. You'll see me complaining about the cornerbacks, but the fact is we didn't pick a pro CB until the 6th round. Our first 5 picks were a pass rushing DE with enormous upside, a FS with 17 picks in 3 years, two highly-rated interior linemen and an athletic recieving tight end. How long have we been screaming for the Bills to meet those needs? This is a day to feel good, regardless of the wasted picks at draft's end. We obviously don't know if these players will be any good or not, but highly-rated players at need positions...if thats not an A I'm not sure what is. Honestly, I'm still glowing in the aftermath of them taking the draft's best speed rusher in the 1st round. That pick was long overdue.

Well Maybin might be able to play OLB in a 3-4, but certainly not here. On topic though, seeing as Hill was franchised, I assume he'll get some serious coin?

When did I say being like Kyle Williams is a positive? In a system that asks its DTs to penetrate and make plays behind the line of scrimmage (as opposed to simply eating up space and allowing others to make plays), Williams starts, but is darn near invisible. That isn't a good thing. He only starts because its one of the weakest positions on the team. The only intriguing UDFA at this point is the OT, imo. Thats to be expected, of course, these guys are the bottom of the barrel.

And his name isn't Woods, last I checked.

Agreed on all those, except McKinnie. I see them keeping 8 offensive linemen: LT Walker, LG Wood, C Hangy, RG Butler, RT Chambers, and backups Levitre, Bell and McKinnie. Time to say goodbye to Jenkins though, if Hardy is going to be active. Can't see them keeping 7 recievers.

Three DBs, but only 2 CBs, and no corners until the 6th round. There's a key difference between corner and safety: safety was a need, corner wasn't.

I don't think its fair to exclude Marcus Stroud from this list, HA. He wasn't a free agent, but he still did not come cheap.

I can't tell you how many years I've been begging for them to get 1) a pass rushing DE, 2) a Center, and 3) a recieving TE. After years and years of neglect, those things have FINALLY been addressed. We obviously don't yet know how these guys will turn out, but Bills fans should be feeling encouraged today...the Bills have delivered highly-rated prospects to fill needs we've had for far too long. Its too bad they had to finish the weekend the way they did, and leave a bad taste in our mouths. Still an encouraging weekend all in all.

If you read a report that the Saints called the Bills and offered them Jabari Greer and a top-15 1st round pick for McKelvin, can you honestly say you think the Bills should turn that down? Thats the trade we made when we picked McKelvin.

My problem is not in letting Clements walk, my problem is the insistence in using a 1st round pick to replace him. This team did not need Leodis McKelvin...we could have accomplished the same thing by re-signing Jabari Greer. Do you want McKelvin, or Greer AND a 1st round pick to use elsewhere? McKelvin has to be some kind of player to justify that trade-off.

Cause heaven forbid we let a CB walk without using a 1st round pick to replace him. The Universe might just fall apart.

The reason why its so ridiculous for them to take another corner is that we don't even have room for him. McGee, McKelvin, Florence, Youboty, Corner. You can't tell me we couldn't have put this pick to better use when we already have 5 legitimate cornerbacks. Its a 6th round pick so people shouldn't get all worked up over it, but its dumb, in a laughable sort of way.

I think Levitre should come in and get a chance to develop a bit before being thrown in there. If he comes into camp and picks everything up quick and wows everyone thats one thing, but he shouldn't be penciled in as a starter from day one. Right now my line is LT Walker, LG Wood, C Hangy, RG Butler, RT Chambers. And of course Bell, Levitre and McKinnie will have the opportunity to win jobs at camp and preseason.

They're playing him at safety...the DBs coach said so in an interview, the video is on bb.com. Ko Simpson or John Wendling will probably be cut, and they're not exactly All-Pros.
