  1. Ahhh, you mean the graphics the networks put up. If the graphics say Kelsay is a linebacker but every play he's on the field his hand is in the dirt as a 4th lineman, then those graphics are wrong.
  2. What lineup? If Kelsay never plays linebacker how is he still a linebacker?
  3. I saw Pianalto on the field last night, yes he's still here. I thought Hall looked a bit better than Elzy, the latter's dropped pass right in his hands didn't help his case.
  4. You don't disagree that Kelsay has been an End all preseason long, and then you proceed to still list him as an OLB. confusing Edit: point being that if they're not showing you they're preparing to use Kelsay as a 34 OLB, what does it matter what bb.com depth chart has to say about it? They seem to prefer Carrington and Batten in that role, rightfully so in my opinion.
  5. Has Kelsay lined up as a linebacker even once all preseason? Unless I'm terribly mistaken he's been a 4-3 DE the vast majority of the time he's been on the field.
  6. I really cannot agree that Pears has been our most consistent lineman...Wood, by a country mile. I will say Pears so far hasn't been the disaster we feared he might be.
  7. From what I've seen, this board has never taken kindly to one-man crusades. It's fine to be critical but try to keep it under control. Your opinion has as much value as anyone else, we just don't need to see anti-Spiller rants from the same poster in three different threads.
  8. Interesting point! I like this kid a lot, going mostly on what I saw in about 2 quarters of football. Very agile with great footwork for a man his size, reminds me of a couple of our d-linemen that way. Seems to know how to use his hands well in pass pro on the edge and seems strong enough to be effective in the run game. Appears to have the potential to start for us at Tackle someday, and for a long time after that. Let's hope the development and improvement continues, we need help on the offensive front more than anywhere else on the roster. Go Bills
  9. I like him too but I fear there's no room for him. Pretty much locked in are Stevie, Roscoe, Easley, Dave Nelson. I think Donald Jones stays as he served as a gunner on punt coverage all season in 2010. Plus Brad Smith who may be considered a QB. Even if they keep one more, Aiken has to beat out Roosevelt who I also like (seems to catch everything that comes his way). It's gonna be tough for Kamar to make it.
  10. Agree completely, SJ! This does not dispute the statement you quoted in any way. Great showing from the OL last night comes as a huge relief. Still I agree with the poster who said Hairston would have a chance to start in a full offseason. It didn't take him long to, in your mind, become our third best tackle. I wonder how far he'd have come along by now had this been a normal football year. As it stands now, back in the real world with a shortened offseason, it's just nice to know there's a good prospect behind Bell and Pears. But can anyone say they'd be shocked to see the rookie starting late in the season?
  11. Stevie is a very good receiver but his ball security in general could be better. I saw him make a catch over the middle and then hold the ball out with one hand while he decided where to go. By the time he was hit he had it tucked away, but that's not good enough. Just catch it and cradle it like it's your son, Stevie! Great video above though, great play
  12. Great to see Fitz have a night like this. If I could've asked for one thing tonight it would've been success in the passing game. I think Batten has played at a higher level than any 3-4 OLB outside Merriman. Seems like we're going with more 4-man fronts with the starters anyway. Makes sense, Dareus and K-Weezy and the rush they can bring for us seem best utilized away from the NT spot. Troup isn't ready to start right now. But the D-line looks like a strength and I can't wait to find out exactly how much better we are there. Urbik finally looked good tonight. I saw him getting to the second level and taking linebackers out of running plays. Wood looked great and was pushing people around, it's different having a real center out there. The OTs are still concerning but I'm getting optimistic there will be room to run inside when the passing game is on. Brad Smith isn't just fast, he isn't just adept at setting up his blocks, but he has the ability to make 'em miss in the open field, like I thought I'd see with Spiller (who appears to be improving anyway). Smith is extremely dangerous as a runner and no matter how down you are, you have to be looking forward to seeing him in this offense, under Gailey.
  13. One would think so. How can anyone say with certainty that Pears is significantly better right now? Tackle is thin.
  14. Spiller averaged over 5 per carry, I don't see how you can blame him for the dropoff. Gailey was spreading the defense and throwing it a lot tonight.
  15. Thank you kindly for the update. On the right side of that page under "twitter updates" I see a bunch of other Outs listed, but don't see Dareus. Could be he's giving it a go
  16. When did Fitz lose the beard? Guess I gotta change the name of my fantasy team, "Amish Rifle." Jerseys look awesome!
  17. Please, no more god damn injuries before the season even starts! The passing game has left a lot to be desired, whether its Fitz or Thigpen. While it does seem the line has regressed some, it shouldn't be much worse than last year. Need to get this passing game in sync because we will struggle to run it early in the season, as we always seem to. Lets see if Andra Davis is a BEAST for the third week in a row. Go Bills! https://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/secure/schedule
  18. I dont think he starts because davis has been an animal this preseason. Good signing for moats' sake and because the depth inside was atrocious. This will take some of the attention away from white and moreso shepp likely not contributing much as rooks outside STs.
  19. Doesnt the wildcat put MORE emphasis on the o-line? Smith can throw a little bit but we all know the odds of running the ball go way up as soon as he lines up at QB, no?
