  1. Well put, he just always seems to be in the right place. The run hurt us this week and we also kept getting burned on those damn swing passes, Manny might've had something to say about that.
  2. Ian Rappaport of NFL.com now also saying Bills "expect to" add Dixon to the PS. Good call UF! edit- the scroll on NFLN
  3. I hope you're right UF, after Freeman, Dixon would be my choice out of all of em. Couldn't agree with you more, I'd like to see them add someone in case Thad isn't good enough, or gets injured.
  4. I say Thad against Cincy while we get Freeman ready. Would rather see Lewis than Tuel, Tuel looked very deer in the headlights Thursday.
  5. I thought tonight was the best game he's played as a Bill- brought it last week too. Looks fast, even getting out to the edge against the run. He's a whole different player this year and he's playing possessed to go with all that athleticism. Go 99
  6. As Deion said, "Look good, feel good, play good, they pay good." I always use this combo in Madden haha
  7. Even if Byrd doesn't come back, having Gilmore and McKelvin on the outside will be a huge luxury for an attacking defense.
  8. Check out Mario postgame comments on bb.com. Gives the coaches and his teammates credit for helping him feel "at peace" in a way he never did last season. They say EJ is not an emotional guy- well Mario is. He needs the right atmosphere in the locker room to perform his best, and I think this year we have it. Good point by Webster Guy re: leverage. On one sack the way he dipped his inside shoulder underneath the OT to get the leverage advantage and free himself, was a thing of beauty.
  9. Absolutely. He looked tenacious on the rush today, there was one sack where they tried to double and he just knocked the halfback backward and then beat the OT. It was awesome. And he's always sealed the edge well vs the run.
  10. I was lucky enough to live in Buffalo for about 6 months and I had the time of my life. I love that town and don't understand the general lack of esteem for it. City of Good Neighbors, indeed. Maybe being a Bills fan, having a dad that grew up there and met my mother there changed my perception, I don't know. But the area is a good fit for my personality and preferences. I guess I'm not a millionaire though. And my God the atmosphere outside and inside that stadium is more than any Jets fan down here in the swamp has ever experienced. You folks make every home game feel like a Grateful Dead show.
  11. Haha you're right, thank you for the correction, but before the arm stomp he also pushed and grinded his victim's helmet into the turf while the victim was on the ground. I don't understand why the NFL would not take a harder stance against a player who seems to be going out of his way to injure people.
  12. Kiko made a few standout plays but on a play by play basis, he was getting swallowed up and disappearing on runs up the middle. Needs to get a lot better, and learn to shed; I think he will. Not a bad start, but not very impressive either. When he's not disappearing on runs up the middle I'll call it impressive.
  13. This guy makes me sick. He's out there trying to injure people in a game that has far too many injuries as it is. First he stomps a guy's face with his spikes and now he launches his helmet into a guy's legs when the guy already had no chance to make the play. Bam him- get this menace off the field before he cripples someone.
  14. I believe 10m of that is rollover from last year, which can't be re-rolled.
  15. TY Hilton seems to have found a way to make it work. Goodwin has excellent hands by all accounts other than TBD. Unsurprisingly his vertical at his pro day was higher than any receiver posted at the combine, which will help make up for his size deficiency on deep balls. He is raw after being used in a limited capacity at Texas due to track. A raw WR with obviously a great work ethic, good hands, speed, and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Not a bad chunk of clay to begin molding.
  16. Thanks for bringing the noise the way we knew you would. I don't get the full effect on TV but I could tell the place was booming, especially noticed it right after we took the lead. I love the atmosphere in that stadium. Looking forward to whooping the cats and evening that record next week. Imagine what this D can do when they're not dealing with Tom Brady*. Go Bills
  17. Nope. When Marrone was told that a dead duck GM would be choosing his quarterback, he couldn't sign fast enough. That's what did it.
