  1. I think AW makes more sense at SS. He's good against the run and has man cover skills- he's a guy I want closer to the line of scrimmage rather than playing centerfield. Duke Williams played that centerfield position in college, I think either he steps up or Graham gets the nod. Searcy makes for a nice backup at SS.
  2. I hear Martin Nance has begun the recruitment.
  3. Mortgage the future to win now by engaging in modest activity in FA and acquiring a 20 year old rookie WR. Something doesn't add up there. If they had traded future draft picks for some veteran WR maybe I could see it, but Watkins is clearly a player acquired with the next 12 years in mind. He's a good 5-7 years away from his physical prime.
  4. It's a linebacker drafted by Doug Whaley. Good bet.
  5. I almost broke my ankle jumping up and down. Glad Whaley didn't puss out and did what was necessary to finally get a guy to keep D-coordinators awake at night. Changes the whole dynamic of our offense. How many days till the opener!?
  6. Wouldn't expect more, he said his source(s) were on the Cleveland side. Well done KH, I'm a happy man this morning.
  7. Are we to take it that you don't think Cordy Glenn, Marcel Dareus, Eric Wood or Kyle Williams are good either? That is one ugly combined W-L record.
  8. Need a go-to receiver and can address OT later. Coming away with both will help the young quarterback immeasurably.
  9. You're making my day buddy. These 9 days can't go by fast enough.
  10. I'm high on Goodwin and still want the Bills to move up for Watkins. The way I see it Stevie Johnson and Mike Williams are temporary fixes. Just as those guys are leaving the roster a couple years from now, we'll have Watkins entering his prime with a couple years experience in our system. Thinking past the next year or two, our long term WR group would be headed by Watkins, Woods and Goodwin, which looks excellent. Just Woods and Goodwin, not so much.
  11. The edit is my favorite part lol. Thank you for sharing this, and well done Coach.
  12. Got me literally laughing out loud
  13. Move up for Watkins! RT can be addressed in round 2 or 3. Stevie and Mike Williams are temporary solutions, we need a beast to pair with Woods long-term and that guy isn't on the roster.
  14. All I cared about was the extra rest bit. I'm very pleased with this.
  15. Starring Joaquin Phoenix
  16. For me there's nobody worse than Irvin and Sapp, they're so !@#$ing loud and never say anything intelligible. Deion is funny now and then, to me anyway, to each his own.
  17. Completely agree! There was at least one year I believe where they had Mayock and Davis both at the main table, never should've changed it. Deion has become a guilty pleasure for me in recent years for a laugh but the likes of Irvin, Mariucci, Faulk, Sapp add nothing while making a whole lotta noise.
  18. I've been going with Mayock for about 5 years now, he and Charles Davis are more knowledgable than anyone ESPN puts on in my opinion. I hate to miss out on Berman but I flip over when I can and Eisen is entertaining too. I like on the final day of the draft they play this game where they pick out the most obscure prospect they can find and Mayock still has a report on him, it's good fun.
  19. WWE now has a strict 'wellness policy' that seems to have largely done away with illegal drug use. Unlike in the 80s and 90s it's now a publically traded company, which has brought about all kinds of changes in the way they do business, one of which is going to great lengths in an attempt to separate from the steroid-ridden image. At one point they suspended one of their biggest stars for a wellness violation and fired another for a marijuana arrest along with numerous lower-profile incidences, and have dropped hundreds of thousands rehabilitating former wrestlers. As someone who follows the company I highly doubt any active performer would be abusing cocaine on the road in today's climate.
  20. Seems to be the case. As mcbride points out, the NFL doesn't want the PR nightmare of seeing one of their 32 fanbases rally against them for a number of years- a traditional and diehard fanbase at that. Wouldn't play well for the shield in the national media. Mr. Wilson cornered Goodell. Not fact, just the way I see it.
