  1. If it's not Cowher I like Gary Kubiak. Part of 3 Superbowl winning coaching staffs including 2 as OC in Denver. He uses that zone blocking scheme that seems to churn out yards regardless of the HB- guys like Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Mike Bell, Ben Tate etc. have shined. He'll re-build our running game and won't insist on using the biggest linemen possible to do it. He never had much of a quarterback in Houston yet still became the only coach to take them to the playoffs. 6-10, 8-8, 8-8, 9-7, 6-10, 10-6, 12-4, 2-11 and fired midseason. I think he's worth giving another shot to, he has championship experience, head coaching experience and will build the O to compliment Schwartz.
  2. It happens a bit too much with the Bills in my opinion. This isn't a huge deal but they stunt too much for my liking. What makes the D so good is we have 4 DL who can win one on one matchups. When stunting doesn't result in a blown assignment, it contributes toward neutralizing the greatest strength on our football team by delaying these awesome athletes getting into their rushes. Plus it effects the run as you mention KTD.
  3. I'm also curious (suspicious) about the Kyle Williams holding penalty on Graham 's INT. We would've started on the Denver 20 but lost 40 yards on the call.
  4. He's been the biggest pleasant surprise for me this year, a la McKelvin last year. After about 10 years of downright miserable LB play season after season, it's a breath of fresh air to see Kiko, Brown and Bradham all on the Bills' roster. Doug got 'r dun.
  5. I don't like this decision at all. He's too good to deactivate in favor of special teams.
  6. Simmons just wants the spotlight. I see him on TNT NBA coverage, which is an excellent panel other than him. Everything Simmons says is designed to get the viewer to notice HIM. He's in the same mold as a Cowherd or Bayless. He's a joke.
  7. I also wonder if they're thinking more sweeps and power handoffs will help Spiller.
  8. Maybe a single training camp INT is completely insignificant and shouldn't even register on your radar? Na couldn't be Imagine how silly it'd be if EJ were lauded as having 'arrived' each time he thew a TD in training camp. Relaaaaaaax
  9. Portis for Champ Bailey springs to mind, but that might've also involved pick(s).
  10. I laughed when Marrone said to Hackett "all we want [EJ] to do is play well and lead the team to a victory." Oh, is that all Coach? Really liked seeing him coaching up Mario Williams as he left the field- I don't think you'd see guys like Gailey or Rex Ryan coaching the opposite unit of their expertise like that. Hope hope hope hope Marrone is the guy.
  11. I finally got around to it yesterday too- really enjoyed it. They underscored each of our 6 wins and those were the highlghts of our season so no complaints here. Man those NFL Films guys know how to get you worked up. edit- loved the mic'd stuff with Marrone, just awesome!
  12. Robey was shockingly good but common man, McKelvin was shutting down #1s like it was no big deal.
  13. Andre Reed stands up without realizing the referee is standing over him, personal foul, Miami wins.
  14. I had a lot of fun with the World Cup but it's the Bills we're talking about.
  15. The one to Chandler and the personal foul on Goodwin that he could've caught after EJ looked off the safety, both perfectly timed downfield throws. Thanks for posting this.
  16. It's not just CJ that gets hurt every year, Fred-Ex does too, tough as he is. As much as it sucked watching CJ limp around and duck out of bounds constantly it was a lot better than watching Tashard Choice's slow ass. Its basically inevitable at least one of Fred/CJ will get hurt, as soon as that happens Brown becomes an important player. After the EJs and the Sammys BB is one of the players I'm most looking forward to seeing in the preseason. An almost impossible combination of size and speed and the fact Mr. Whaley worked for 18 months to get this kid? I'm really intrigued.
  17. With Spikes locking down MLB this year, any chance Preston gets a look at SLB?
