  1. Buffalo Bills NY Mets NY Knicks Buffalo Sabres Bkn Nets Also Rutgers football Still waiting on the first championship of my lifetime
  2. I think it behooves this team to get to the playoffs and wash off the stink of the last 15 years. It either catches the eye of a veteran QB thinking win-now or it cultivates a better environment for a rookie QB beginning development. It also has an effect on the org. bottom to top, success begets success. If McCoy improves the offense and helps that happen it adds significantly to his value for me.
  3. Can a former DTV customer get this service at the same residence?
  4. And going from Marrone/Hackett to Roman.....can't wait.
  5. I think if it's a perfect D-line for Jim it's just as good for Rex, because he can do everything that Schwartz can do schematically plus so much more. If it makes sense for us to blitz less, Rex will do that as he showed last year in NJ. But he will still vary formations and assignments to confuse QBs and O-lines, which will make our pass rush even more effective. I think our personnel is more comparable to what he had in Baltimore than in NJ so I'm expecting really stellar results on the defensive side. Regarding run D it may be true he doesn't have the pure nose tackle he had with those teams, but big #99 may well be up to the task if Rex really deems it necessary to change pace with a true two-gap 3-4 look. My questions about Rex are all on offense personally, just can't find a legitimate reaso, to think he'll fall off at all on D.
  6. 'I think they're gonna run a bubble screen oh' is just fantastic.
  7. The Chiefs signed Meh to a 6-year, $62.7m deal after one season playing for New England*. And that was back in '09. Too many teams out there too desperate at the QB position to count on much of a discount, if any, I'd think.
  8. Fair enough Yolo. I find Shady's personality offputting, I thought it was weird how he wouldn't turn around and look at Boobie Dixon, and I read Rodak's tweets through that lense. I love elusive, quick runners and I'm pumped to see a quality one on our side. everything CJ was supposed to be. As long as he doesn't distract from the unified goal I'll be a big fan of McCoy.
  9. Report: LeSean McCoy foregoes stick removal surgery; will attempt to play in 2015 with stick up his butt.
  10. I'm curious if we choose not to void the deal after 2015, does that mean we're committing to 18m over two years? Or would we have another chance to void after 2016? Nine million seems easier to swallow when it's a year by year thing and you can get out without penalty.
  11. According to the OTC link above his base salary goes from 2.9 this year to 9m in 2016 and 9m in 2017. Cap hits are 4m-10m-10m. Considering the players we need to re-sign, and Watkins and Woods being here, Harvin would need to have one heck of a 2015 in order to even open a debate.
  12. Our weapons sure are scary. Its worth noting though that SF also had the best offensive line in the league.
  13. Maybe that's why he can't turn his head and run at the same time?
  14. I personally think they're pretty sure Taylor is the guy, and Rex is trying his best to contain his excitement in front of the media until they can confirm that Taylor actually is whatever they think he is. But I think Taylor is the favorite and by a wider margin than the coaches would have us believe at this time.
  15. writeup on Cedric Reed http://www.buffalobillsdraft.com/2014/09/2015-nfl-draft-prospect-to-watch-cedric-reed-de-texas/
  16. I'm interested in Ben Koyack, TE from Notre Dame. This profile makes him sound like a pro-ready run blocker with the necessary athleticism and hands to develop as a receiver. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/ben-koyack?id=2552396
  17. When his name popped up I was just so relieved to finally acquire an offensive lineman. I'd still like RT help but at least we have 'hope' at all 5 positions now. Interesting that he sounds like such a mauler in the run game without being much more than 300 lbs. Roman must love this!
  18. Thanks again, sorry to ask you to repeat yourself. I'm going to look up your thread on OTs as well as that's a big position of concern to me- there's certainly hope for Henderson with better coaching, but counting on him to start with no alternative when we have QB issues and need to run the ball seems very risky. The fact they chased Bulaga hard tells me the coaches have their reservations too. Re: Jackson I'm a sucker for road grading type guards who can move big DL around but I may be behind the times there. I gather that pulling and movement in general will be important for OGs under Roman. Also off topic sorta but I'd be open to TE in the 3rd too. Your description of Jarvis Harrison intrigues me because I think we can find value in those types with Rex on helm. Ryan has things 9n his resume that could give one pause, but one thing he does well is motivate and get players to buy into the program. Due diligence really is due and it's gotta be case by case, of course. On pins and needles here like everyone else so thanks for your thoughts, and GO BILLS!
  19. Thanks for adding your updated mock, bandit. If you have the time... Do you see Cann as a fit for Roman's system? Also I'm wondering if you see Tre Jackson as an early third rounder, or will he slide in part due to the knee concerns. If the Bills do go DL at 50 would you want Jackson in the 3rd?
