Good point, I forgot how close we came. This is more the type of guy I'd be willing to commit to for multiple years and re-shape the roster for. A bright young mind with an impressive resume, including a playoff run under a quality coach (Harbaugh) and even a decent head coaching season of his own, who just hasn't gotten his opportunity yet. He's lighting it up in Cincinnati, showing he understands the new NFL. Meanwhile Rex' success came in another league at another time. If Rex produces say 7-8 wins and we give him a courtesy year, we probably miss this particular boat.

He was QB Coach under Harbaugh when Flacco became the first rookie in NFL history to win 2 playoff games. As OC with the Raiders his offense was 6th in the NFL in scoring, 10th in total yards and 2nd in rushing yards. Then he became the head man and started 7-4, finished 8-8 in a dysfunctional organization and had the rug pulled out from under him. Now he's doing good work with Dalton and company.

I plead guilty on both counts.

I think it's smarts and instincts moreso than athleticism that have allowed Graham and AW to seemingly always be in the right place in this D, and to shine. I'm whole heartedly for the move though. I could see McKelvin as a safety being not quite as good as our two starters but still a significant upgrade over the likes of Rambo/Duke. His athleticism will help him try to recover from any growing pain errors that may come early on.

Thanks for that. I'm trying to figure which one makes the most sense. As I understand it for this game, the Yahoo app isn't there on the Chromecast itself so you have to cast from another device? And I read that if you cast from a phone or tablet the picture may not be as sharp because phone screens shrink the image- any truth to this? Whereas my understanding is the Fire TV Stick allows you to watch in the Yahoo app itself.

That probably explains it. Funny how the game is offered to other Sony smart devices, just not Playstation. I'm considering picking up a Fire Stick.

PS3 & 4 aren't on the site and there's no app on PS4.
