  1. holy frikkin crap
  2. \ coy wire had 23 tackles last year, boley 62... what you said doesn't make sense about wire beating out boley.
  3. ...the 6 yard head start they give eisen...
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZb3DRt6_Gk
  5. While Boller does suck as a full time starting QB, I think he's proven that he's a more than capable #2. I wouldn't mind him as the backup qb.
  6. the numbers don't tell hargrove's story. he was constantly providing pressure from wherever he was lined up on the line, even if he has a paltry amount of sacks to show for it.
  7. White had 2, 8, 7, and 15 sacks in college. Tyson Jackson had less sacks in college than Reggie White did his senior year. The only similarity imo is that they're both bigger DEs.
  8. if we address our lines through FA/trade, a first round DB wouldn't necessarily be a bad move.
  9. like i say with any other player on the bills.. if it's a great offer, then hell yes i'd trade him in a heartbeat. anything less, then no.
  10. maybe gibril can convince jabari to stay here.. shrug. (both played collegiately @ tennessee)
  11. eh it's kind of hard to get touchdowns when 2 receivers account for 76% of your team's touchdowns (Walter & Andre Johnson had 8 each last year out of 21 total touchdown passes)
  12. i thought we were comparing edwards from this year vs losman in 06? or was i mistaken? disclaimer: do not interpret me discussing this as me saying losman should be back in any way, shape, or form. i've already stated that losman ain't gonna be back.
  13. that's a bit extreme
  14. not to pick nits, but edwards averaged more passing attempts per game. more passing attempts is usually going to translate into more yardage.
  15. Maybe he meant Royal had 133 drops in 2 years. That'd make much more sense.
  16. Gus could teach Edwards many things. Namely, not to headbutt concrete walls. I'm in the camp of people that want buffalo to bring in competition for the #1 spot, not some washed up never-was to back up edwards and be an emergency starter the 3+ games that edwards misses a year.
  17. i actually liked emmitt on the show. not for his analysis, but specifically for the comedic factor of him butchering the english language.
  18. That'd be a dream offseason for me.
  19. daniels - i'd absolutely love to have him in buffalo. he'd come at a high cost in terms of draft picks, however.. devery henderson- eh, a poor man's lee evans. not so hot on him. getting to 40 catches in a year would be an accomplishment for him, and that's with drew brees throwing to him. considering his forte is stretching the field, why would he want to come to buffalo w/ edwards at qb? michael boley- a rising, good player. definitely wouldn't mind him. jermaine phillips- bad at coverage, very good against the run. kinda iffy on him... the reason they let lynch go in tampa was because this kid was supposed to be 'better' than him. i don't really think he ever surpassed even a declining lynch in terms of play.
  20. I don't think Tyson Jackson is the answer to our pass rushing problems. It seems to me that he's more of a 3-4 end...
  21. well, it all depends who we'd have beaten at that point in time.. but yeah, i'll take 5-1.
  22. if you're implying that i said that, then you're dead wrong. i'm pointing out the hypocrisy of some people in judging a player, namely bill from nyc's.
  23. I love you the way you say trent edwards' seasons are 'abbreviated', yet say jp losman averages 2 wins per season.. as if losman had actually played them fully.
  24. hahaha. open night @ the improv? there's no way 1. losman wants to stay in buffalo 2. buffalo wants losman
