  1. Silly you. Way to take something and totally twist it to fit your needs. anyways, whether or not cutler is a headcase, i'd take him any day of the week on my team. hell, the man has almost as many multi-td games in his career as trent edwards has career touchdowns.
  2. guys, mainly the ones hinging their critique of jay cutler on "him saying he's better than elway".. he never said that He said HIS ARM is stronger than Elway's.
  3. owens has always been among the league leaders in drops. that being said, i'll take it for what he brings to the table.
  4. who cares? whether or not 1 or 50 teams wanted him, he's here.
  5. agreed w/ original poster. owens is going to open things up for everyone else, and i'll take Owens' "mediocre production" over what we have now at the #2. (fwiw, owens without his 2 big games averaged 4 catches for 52 yards)
  6. if we get good production from the QB spot, yes. if we get a year like last year, then no.
  7. isn't his name "BECKUM"?
  8. Antonio Cromartie
  9. well, since we're comparing him to troy vincent, troy vincent's forte wasn't tackling either.
  10. from the games i've seen of june/keiaho/ellison, keiaho is the most physical of them. cato june in his last year with the colts missed a LOT of tackles, but seems to be very good in pass coverage.
  11. roy williams was definitely not great.
  12. a few things.. 1- congratulations, jabari! going from an undrafted FA to getting a $23 million dollar contract. way to go. 2- there are no shut down cornerbacks anymore. deion sanders was the last one.
  13. Tim, What are your thoughts on Tony Scheffler and how he could possibly be the missing link @ TE that we've been missing since Pete Metzelaars? I mean, this situation couldn't be any better.. Denver wants to get rid of him because he doesn't fit in their system and we need a receiving TE in the worst way. edit: oops, beaten by alphadawg on this question already
  14. oh, I forgot Arena league reference. Anyhow, doesn't change the fact that nunyas are original.
  15. I don't see how Clod Tollins isn't at the bottom next to Rob Johnson. When he was in Buffalo he straight up sucked.
  16. is it not the truth? or in your mind, is trent edwards better than carson palmer?
  17. Let's see what's been covered: mandatory CFL reference.. check mandatory street cleaning reference.. check mandatory fast food reference.... NOPE can't you guys think of anything different? in any thread where jp losman is mentioned, you're guaranteed to have all 3 of the above.
  18. i'll never forgive that guy for deciding to test out his long-striding prowess in that game against the titans a few years ago. friggin idiot.
  19. Mike Peterson is a Mike (MLB). Unless we're moving Poz to the outside (horrible move imo), then I don't see how he could help us.

  21. and just how is he overrated? he's got 54 touchdowns the past 2 years. his numbers are ascending, where derek anderson's peaked his one big year... and they weren't even really that great that year.
  22. me being a florida state fan, i'd say that you'd have to gameplan more for harvin than tebow. i'd love to have harvin on the team but buffalo has so many holes (namely, OL and DL) that it wouldn't be our best move to nab him #11.
  23. I think that had more to do with Tommie Harris being healthy than Tank Johnson being there. IIRC, Johnson was a part-time player on Chicago thatj ust happened to start.
  24. They've got 9 defensive linemen under contract, and they've just signed Canty and Bernard to pretty sizable contracts. I can't see them keeping all of them.
  25. Denver's problems had more to do with their defense being bottom-3 in well, everything moreso than Jay Cutler. Their offense (yards-wise) was one of the top ones in the NFL.
