  1. during the time edwards was @ stanford, stanford had more players drafted into the NFL than UCLA did.
  2. i heartily agree.
  3. brown is waaaayyyy stronger than gaines adams was coming out of college. (450+ lb bench press iirc)
  4. Bill from NYC? thebug? whose dupe account is it?
  5. greer, a self-made feelgood success story? yeah. solid, improving CB? yeah shutdown corner? naah.
  6. even with our pass rush how it was last year, we were in pretty much all the games. i'd be happy with solidifying our OL to where we are able to (hopefully) play with leads and just let our defense tee off on the pass.
  7. were biggie smalls and tupac mentioned? 90's is really when i was introduced to rap/hip hop. and to whoever mentioned black sheep: lol @ the song that consisted entirely of '!@#$ you'
  8. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  9. HEY GUYS JUST GOT IN WHO'D WE GET FOR PETERS??!?!!?
  10. i dunno whether kelsay is good against the run or not, (i tend to think not since he can never keep containment on play action fakes), but just because a player doesn't make the tackle doesn't mean he's not playing the run right. (i.e. he forces the running back inside)
  11. OH GOD HE PLAYED DB IN COLLEGGE WHAT THE HELL IS OUT FO DOING THEYRE RETARDED OMG STUPID STUPID STUPID there, figured i'd do that before the db whiners did
  12. count me in for the group of people that are tired of the whiny 'waah we've drafted defensive backs and i think we're gonna draft more' crowd
  13. 1. always getting hurt 2. never really produced as a passrusher despite his strength being rushing the passer 3. i think clay matthews is going to be a better pro than cushing (gut feeling) 4. possibility of juicing?
  14. re: Everette Brown.. I think your assessment is pretty much spot-on. His spin move is really good, and him doing it reminds me of how Freeney uses his spin moves. His jump off the snap is lightning-quick. His shoulder dip on a speed rush on the outside is also very good. That being said, I'd be elated if we managed to snag him.
  15. i beg to differ - jeff wright was a pretty good player.
  16. ahhhhhh no anyone but cushing or pettigrew
  17. we've been saying that this season is make or break for edwards ever since his hot and cold season last year.. this is old news for TBD.
  18. my only problem with donte was his statement "if trent hadn't gotten hurt, we'd be 6-0" after the arizona game... in which he played in... and the buffalo bills allowed 40+ points in.
  19. agreed.. he looks like just another guy. shrug.
  20. Reggie Williams is an idiot, and a bust to boot. To think, it was a choice between him and Lee Evans in the year they were drafted...
  21. the thing is, iirc, shanhan had complete say over personnel decisions for a while. the horrid defense was a defense that was full of guys that he chose himself...
  22. wanna shut the trent ballwashers up? just show them indisputable fact and they won't have anything to counter with other than poise/he has potential/i have a hugely homosexual more than mancrush on him.
  23. cato june ain't all that. not really a big deal missing out on him, imo
  24. you missed out. he had one hell of a game against the eventual-champion florida gators, and basically willed the whole team to an almost-win (a WR dropped an easy pass that should have put Vandy in great position to win the game).. i'm pretty sure it's an espn classic game now.
  25. haha. pushthepile is about as objective as one can be, yet magox's panties are in a bunch because he's not down on his hands and knees fellating trent edwards.
