  1. yeah, it was a beautiful pass that TO dropped, but i don't think it'd have been a touchdown.
  2. but lemme guess: you were one of the 'buyers' in the "TRENT EDWARDS IS BETTER THAN TOM BRADY: PROOF INSIDE" thread, right?
  3. streetcar, it looks like you guys might actually have a defense now to go with that killer offense.
  4. Okay, Dog, let's just say that we totally stoned their running. Would we have won the game with our offense producing 0 points? The fact of the matter is our "27th ranked defense" kept us in the game until the end.
  5. "If Calvin Johnson doesn't get called for a bull **** offensive pass interference call yesterday, then Staffords average will have jumped 20.66666 yards". It's ridiculous. Drops happen in the game, penalties happen in the game. Yeah, it is funny, but the same thing happens with the ballwashers after a good game.
  6. :groan: please don't play the "What If?" game.
  7. did you watch the game?
  8. he's a certified cheating POS
  9. uggh. wasn't a fan of gruden's while he was @ TB. He basically ran that team into the ground.
  10. several people (i believe myself included, if i didn't post it I was sure thinking of it) pointed out in another thread that returning punts and kicks are two different beasts. roscoe's ability to return punts doesn't translate into him being a good kick returner.
  11. oh god, don't even start with this please...
  12. our offense scored 0 points that game. we had a 33-26 time of possession deficit. we were 2-14 on third downs. until the 4th quarter, their rush offense was shut down.
  13. Sanchez is in a very insulated situation. He has a proven, veteran OL. He has a very good defense backing him. But yes, Sanchez has looked impressive thus far.
  14. Game 3: Ugggh. C-/D+ at best. The offensive line wasn't doing him any favors, however. Not seeing the field/making too "safe" decisions (read: checking down way too much)
  15. so we go for it on 4th and 23... then punt on 4th and 10? whaaaat.
  16. 4th and 23 and he dumps it off to jackson. awesome.
  17. josh reed never touched the ground on that tackle... sigh
  18. their defense looked good against Pitt, but horrible last week. I'm inclined to believe they're more like last week than against Pitt.
  19. good point.
  20. i think harris ran like a 4.7 or 4.8. i dunno if he can match up with any pass-catching TEs in a man to man coverage.
  21. he's made quite a few plays at the line of scrimmage and even behind the line of scrimmage. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by his run defense play. And yes, he appears to actually be sticking people this year.
  22. like other people have said, having a lot of tackles does not always equate to a player doing well.
  23. Yeah, me too. I really liked Hargrove. It's too bad he basically screwed himself while he was up here. Buffalo loved this guy.
  24. That he's not a hall of famer yet, which is why we weren't saying he'd be the #1/2 from the 90s? Your statement is kind of ridiculous, like the Steelers comparing linebackers currently to the ones from the 70s.
