    how much credit did he give him? to me it looks like all he said was that we won while Fitzpatrick was the QB. Not "Fitzpatrick won the game for us", not "Fitzpatrick was the reason why we won", etc, etc, etc.

    but according to the people on this board, lee evans sucks, can't get open, isn't even a #2 receiver, etc... and i was wondering: does a slant route involve crossing the middle? because according to those same people, all lee evans is good for is the 9(go) route.

    heh. his throws were so bad on those three plays that the Jet defenders couldn't make a play. If he'd have thrown good passes, all three of those easily would have been picked.

    do you think, just for a second, that the 20+ mile an hour winds and coming off the bench cold might have played into that? not to mention the fact that fitzpatrick doesn't get any first team reps?

    i don't think we'd have been able to do that. as soon as the ref called it a catch, they were reviewing the play.

    yes, jauron was conservative, but we couldnt have run another play (and gotten tackled in bounds). we only had 1 timeout.
