  1. other than being tired of hearing about clausen, do you care to maybe post WHY we should get Snead?
  2. :yeahthat: ptr hit the nail on the head.
  3. good thing we've been giving Maybin lots of PT to ready him for stepping in for Schobel once he retires double
  4. i dunno if bringing vick in would help our team any with the qb issues that we've got.
  5. eh, not really a fan of jason campbell....
  6. Rodgers also threw for 4000 yards and 28 touchdowns that year. Green Bay had the 5th best offense in the NFL with 419 points scored. Has Edwards even thrown for 28 touchdowns in his career?
  7. hope you get better soon. sadly, i'm in florida so i couldn't capitalize on these awesome tickets.
  8. count me in on the group that doesn't think tebow will make it as an nfl quarterback.
  9. trent edwards had a very good game against them for the first game of this season...
  10. I think it was against the Pete Caroll-coached Pats.
  11. wait, let's look at Daryle's numbers while he was with Buffalo: 1963 22 BUF P 12 14 2 2-0-0 33 71 46.5 437 3 4.2 4 5.6 93 6.2 4.5 13.2 31.2 57.1 1 1964 23 BUF 12 14 1 1-0-0 55 128 43.0 1137 6 4.7 8 6.3 80 8.9 7.0 20.7 81.2 64.5 1 1965* 24 BUF 12 14 1 1-0-0 29 70 41.4 376 3 4.3 6 8.6 74 5.4 2.4 13.0 26.9 37.6 2 1966 25 BUF 12 14 0 33 84 39.3 549 4 4.8 5 6.0 55 6.5 4.8 16.6 39.2 53.1 1 ---- that all adds up to: 150 completions out of 353 attempts 16 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. Hardly All-Star and League MVP worthy numbers. When Buffalo traded him, he wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination.
  12. if fewell can lead the bills to a win against the pats, give him they key to the city! We haven't beaten NE in like 7 years.
  13. agreed. i'm happy for him.
  14. that's funny, because for all the 'potential' that trent has, his numbers are eerily similar to jp losman's.
  15. i specifically remember a dallas fan on a message board i frequented always ripping on the guy relentlessly.
  16. this guy sucked for dallas a few years ago.
  17. it's funny, we talk about mckinnie and then pfw posts this:
  18. mckinnie hasn't lived up to his draft position, either. he's been decent, but nothing spectacular especially considering how much he's making.
  19. haha. premier? Notre Dame hasn't even been close to premier for a loong time. The closest they've been to relevance in probably a decade is 'almost' beating USC.
  20. i hope T.O. gets more than 2 catches. I think it's a pretty fair guess to say that if T.O. has a big game, we win.
  21. agreed. just like we were late to the dance in switching to the tampa 2.
  22. Throwing a 60 yard pass in training camp during a scrimmage is a lot different from completing one in a game. I remember a thread on here after the flaming thumbtacks' game( i believe), where TO had his man beaten deep several times, only for Trent Edwards to throw a lollipop. So on multiple occasions where TO should have had touchdowns with a good throw, he ended up with just big gainers. Have you seen any deep pass lollipops from Fitzpatrick to Owens that should have been TDs that just ended up in big gainers?
  23. i'm going to say conspiracy theory, and the only difference is a qb that can throw the deep ball and hit owens IN STRIDE for touchdowns, rather than 30+ yard gains.
  24. i remember that play: addai runs a route across the middle, manning throws the ball to him. addai bobbles it, then manages to gather the ball before being blasted by dunta robinson. robinson and a few other texans start hooting and hollering like the just won the super bowl, manning gets everyone hurried to the line and hits austin collie for a 31 yard pass
