    people who are saying 'we're terrible at stopping the run! bring him in!' need to realize that merriman never was really a run stopper.. he's a pass rusher. that being said, i'd say absolutely bring him in to see what he's got left.

    he's had a bad back for a long time, just recently having surgery on it a year or two ago. plus he's old. i'd guess the reason for the ravens letting him go is: a. his salary b. there are players better than him on the ravens roster

    I took humbrage with the call of offsides causing Wes Welker to move on Aaron Maybin.. Yes, Maybin was offsides, but he went back. Well after Maybin had initially gone offsides, Welker moved. Maybin's move did not cause Welker to false start.

    if practice did indeed make perfect, why can't everyone shoot high percentages on three pointers? after all, all it takes is practice... ...some people are just better than others. :shrug:

    this is like the fiftieth time ive responded to a post like this, but how was it nelson's fault? it was way high and behind him. and to answer: fitz threw two terrible, terrible passes that got intercepted. especially the first one that should have been a TD or near-td.
