  1. did you see the jets trying to blitz the hell out of him? ...
  2. how about that one super bowl, where michael irvin caught like 50 passes on him... in response to the original poster, no, jd williams didn't have any good games. EVER. never.
  3. awesome read. i appreciate how in-depth this analysis was.
  4. that's scary about bowers being raw in pass rush.. this past year he had 15.5 sacks.
  5. some people have character concerns about fairley and say he's a "dirty" player. I can only recall one play, where he hit Aaron Murray in the back a good 2 or 3 seconds after Murray had thrown a pass. Fairley is a beast.
  6. frick meant ryan lilja. who now plays for the chiefs.
  7. polian should have never cut ryan diem. that was a huge mistake.
  8. agreed to say that clausen isn't going to be a good nfl QB after 5 games is downright retarded.
  9. he's big, agile, and fast with a good feel for sitting down in zones. if those traits don't work, he beats up the cb covering him :rimshot:
  10. wowww, reggie wayne in the top 10. never would have thunk that.
  11. eh, tackles isn't really a great statistic to judge how good a DB is doing. But I do think he's having a better year than any other year I can remember him having before. He seems to be in the right place at the right time more often (hitting a receiver right as the ball gets there, etc)
  12. hehehe. this thread made me keekle.
  13. who said he was impossible to sack? i just said he's very tough to bring down.
  14. right. a pancake block. FROM BEHIND.
  15. hahahaha what? Big Ben IS tough to bring down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z5dqelV_8s&feature=related For reference, look at the Baltimore Ravens section of those highlights: He breaks two tackles on sack attempts: Trevor Pryce's and Terrell Suggs. Suggs is 260 and Pryce is 290. Pryce has 91 career sacks and Suggs has 65, so it's not like tackling QBs is anything new to these guys.
  16. in re #3: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81c79393/Roethlisberger-runs-for-1st-down looks like maybin did a heck of a job on that play. and i'm wondering just how quickly a person can get up when a 300+ pound fatass in laying on top of you?
  17. even though kemoeatu got called for 4 holds, he should have probably been called for at least 4 more. the man couldn't block kyle williams.
  18. damn, man.. i feel so bad for him. c'mon, stevie, keep your head up and keep plugging away.
  19. i think the best comparison for mallett is drew bledsoe...
  20. Nick Fairley's burst, strength, and agility look awfully impressive. He looks like he's going to be a difference maker at the next level.
  21. just think what could have been if he didn't have that retard trent edwards as his quarterback for just abovut 3 years...
  22. I agree. Tim Tebow did more than that to celebrate a first down. that call definitely had me scratching my head.
  23. eh Ngata is talented enough to play any position on the line in any defensive scheme. as a matter of fact, he currently does play every position on the line at times.
  24. looking at the points allowed for our team, 276, i only see 3 teams with a worse number. i don't know if fitz is a quarterback that could be built around (i think he might be), but i'd think that if the offense weren't forced to feel like it has to score every possession his turnovers would be decreased.
  25. fitzpatrick is ten times the passes fiedler ever was.
