  1. Yeah, possible. But he didn't really look to me like it was an "athletic" move to hold his lane. Anyway, sure I wanted petal to the metal on that play to just get Mahomes off the field. We didn't know what was coming after that play, only what was happening in that moment 🙂
  2. Man you couldn't be more wrong - I wasn't complaining, just talking about a play, right? Guess we need to not talk about football going into the bye week? That's the result, but I don't think it was the intent 🙂
  3. Yes, that's the play I was talking about. Thanks for posting it. He would have pancaked Mahomes.
  4. Yeah, there seemed to have been a lot of holding that went unnoticed today 😞
  5. Thanks. I'm not criticizing the game effort, was just wondering about that play. If he really was gassed, I hope the team takes notice and properly subs him more with someone who can hold a lane and continue pursuit late in the game.
  6. Anyone have the ability to replay that last drive by KC? It appeared to me on (I think) 2nd down that Miller flushed Mahomes out of the pocket to Mahomes' right, then Miller just gave up and started walking. Mahomes was then forced by our D near the sideline to turn back in toward the middle. If Miller hadn't given up on the play Mahomes would have turned right into Miller. Maybe I didn't see it all correctly -- I don't have replay/rewind. Anyone? Thanks.
  7. This year's schedule is great for those of us who live 12 time zones away 🙂
  8. Exactly. I would have given game balls to these two. Milano was a tackling monster, showing some great balance in maneuvering to make his tackles. Both of Poyer's INTs were really athletic. The first was backwards and over his head, the second one was just pure power and coordination.
  9. I was at that game, sat in the Dog Pound during the drive. Looking back it's a good thing Harmon dropped the pass, I might have been killed.
  10. I'll be streaming the game at home in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Tailgate 4am, game 6:30am. I'll be making a homemade Garbage Plate! Go Bills!
  11. and not only did he give it sufficiant time in one (almost) RB's grasp, but on the Tommy Doyle touchdown play he sold it with both backs.
  12. Setting aside the fact that the play action worked last week because of the great play calling mix and successful run game, I saw two things when Allen ran play action that really set it apart. Watch the TD play to Tommy Doyle and you'll see both of these: 1) Unlike many QBs running the play action, Allen did not hold the ball out to the RBs with both hands. He held it out with his left hand only, keeping his right hand free. When he began to curl around to his right after faking the handoff the ball was completely blocked by his body, and his empty throwing hand sent a signal to the D that the ball had been handed off. 2) Allen took the ball very deep (a 9 yard drop at the apex of his curl-around) and very fast into the backfield, leaving him a ton of time before any Defensive spies would have a chance to reach and pressure him. This left all options open to him -- passing if his target was open, looking for a secondary target, running himself or throwing the ball away. On the Doyle TD, the nearest defenders were 6 yards away from him when he threw the ball. If the Bills can sell the run this weekend, I believe Allen's technique on the play action will open up some big plays for the Bills. Thoughts?
  13. it just looks like a completely different set of plays than we've been running all year. And I don't understand why. I know the OL has been juggled today but that wouldn't require a completely new game plan.
  14. Not sure the OL is capable of giving Josh enough time to throw down field.
