  1. Right, but it's also what he's referring to throughout this entire exchange: Q: Who is the coach in the booth that Preston Brown said was getting the calls in late? Thurman: "I have no idea what he’s talking about. See again, you guys assume I know what’s going on. I have no idea." Q: Why wouldn’t you know what’s going on with your defense? Thurman: "I don’t know what you’re talking about is what I’m saying to you." what he doesn't know about is the media coverage
  2. Is everyone here selectively reading this out of context, or am I missing something? Isn't it clear that he's saying he doesn't know what Preston Brown is telling the media? I know it can read as if he's saying "I'm not aware of this issue," but it seems like he meant to say "I'm not aware of the media coverage of this issue."
  3. I want to contribute to this thread in a meaningful way. I found something many of you will find useful: link
  4. Having completely forgotten about the dropped pick-six, I formally submit for the approval of the internet gods, motion to rescind.
  5. Why did you post a scoreboard that reflected nothing at all pertaining to that game?
  6. He'll neither play in NE nor get 15 sacks. I'll wager whatever you please.
  7. Damn straight. High time Buffalo gets with the program and has the belly to do what it takes.
  8. Did you confuse the word "if" for "when?"
  9. If Bellicheat and his band of merry !@#$s made this announcement about a malcontent, they'd be heralded as a no nonsense organization that doesn't tolerate insubordination detrimental to the teams success.
  10. Possibly. Or else this was leaked to remind Mario that his tryout begins Sunday.
  11. I'm not challenging you, I'm curious: what was he dishonest about?
  12. Once he's gone, it'll be time to start blaming the logo.
  13. If I was being paid by the team, I'd be doing a lousy job.
  14. I'm not sure you're the right person to be tisk tisking because someone openly speculated.
  15. Boy, it's going to be a long 10 months for you and your keyboard.
  16. No. As much I liked Dick Jauron, his regime proved woefully incapable of identifying and retaining talent and when he was asked to leave, it was time. Funny, his tenure was the longest of all the guys mentioned. And, if it were possible, the Gailey/Fitzpatrick/Pettine combo might not have been the worst thing in the world, nor would that same combo with Schwartz been all that disagreeable.
  17. Murlarkey removed himself too. I know. I just found it funny that in a conversation about stability he rattled off the last six coaches, forgetting that the mickey mouse club that was the organization from 2003-Pegula was such a toxic atmopshere that we couldn't even retain our own coaches.
  18. Unless you believe--as I do--that part of the reason you have ****ty 'candidates' to choose from is because the instability of your organization repels the keepable talent.
  19. He's among the 1/3 of the coaches mentioned that left on his own accord.
  20. Unless you believe--as I do--that instability is what caused the organization to be bad in the first place.
