Well, no actually. This thread was made because an article came out that provided thorough analysis dissecting PATS1 v PATS2. And since PATS1 is such a sticky point of contention with many of you, it's reasonable (my mistake) to assume that new/good information might encourage you to rethink your position. Consider me the SARS blanket on the echo chamber wall. I'll gracefully bow out so the rest of you can go back to needlessly raising each other's blood pressure, if that's what you'd prefer.
-
No, actually everyone else has just fled this shameless echo chamber. Notice it's just the same four or five people posting the same points over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Very true. He went (questionably) low on a rusher that was completely neutralized to begin with.
-
I can't imagine he's there @ 19, and definitely not @ 49. Another trade up scenario?
-
The hold was far more legit than the phantom chop block on the seam pass to Clay.
-
Won't challenge that. I liked where the offense was heading. That said, in the final two weeks they were strong. That Dallas game was kept way closer than it had to be thanks to TWO redzone turnovers. Obviously the offense showed its potential to turn the corner in the Jets game too, but in the two games prior (Philly and WAS), meh, not so much. I love how the offense is trending, but especially when you consider the massive FA holes they presently have at the OLine, my mode remains in "wait and see."

If he honestly doesn't know then either a.) he's willfully ignored ALL the information that has circulated MANY media firms or b.) he knows jack about football. Either way...
-
And the difference is you KNOW you're right.
-
You've got things completely backwards. Seriously, go back and read the OP article.
-
Yep, it's that simple.
-
Whether or not you choose to believe the true impact of Aaron Williams' injury is entirely up to you. OUR SAFETIES WERE !@#$ING TERRIBLE Why is it so hard to "admit?" Because a.) it's not a confession and b.) it's not true.
-
My impression was that attempts to sign David Harris were very real and documented. Re: the quick passes--the OP article talks about how that was neutralized in the second Patriots* matchup, it goes into painstaking detail for how, exactly, Rex adjusted as the season went on. Re: the substitution and presnap issues, I genuinely don't recall that being a major issues throughout the bulk of the latter part of the year. Not saying it went away completely, it clearly did not, but there was a tangible disconnect that lingered with a couple players. PLUS: and I don't really care how often this is dismissed as an "excuse," but when your backend has already been severely compromised by injury and then more injuries are heaped on top of that, what should the expectation level really be? Re:
-
You should go back and read the article that's the OP for this thread if you're not following.
-
Well, now you've jumped to a completely separate critique.
-
And you've narrowed the reason Spikes isn't on an active roster to that and that alone. Which I don't believe is the case. You keep saying he didn't adjust as if the more times it's repeated, the more likely it is to be true, when it's not.
-
Yes he did. No you didn't. You pointed out his weaknesses, which nobody is disputing.

Bowles needed Fitz/Marshal to set franchise records to sniff 10 wins, many of which they got by the skin of their teeth. Not to mention, they lost the ones they needed most. Methinks the effusive love for Bowles stems mostly from the fact that he's not Rex. We'll see how he does next year when that roster is gutted. Take a look a look at who they're obligated to keep this year, come to grips with which players they'll inevitably lose, then come back and tell me you think they'll finish with more than seven wins in 2016. It's not. Spikes, Searcy, Aaron Williams and Kyle Williams, all gone. They added a Darby. Again, this false argument that personnel went unchanged has been roundly disputed since November. You just choose to ignore it. The linebackers suffered tremendously with Spikes gone. If you're oblivious to this or if you're flatly going to ignore this fact, there's no point in discussing this.
-
Didn't think you had an answer.
-
Who is this talent you speak of? Bills fans seem to have convinced themselves that they have a top-3 guy at all 11 positions on defense. We certainly don't have a quarterback capable of hiding deficiencies. Outside of Dareus and may be Gilmore, exactly who on the defense is an elite talent at their position?
-
And yet the endless trope of d-lineman dropping has been severely countered by the actual numbers. How are people still making this argument and expect to be taken seriously?
-
Then I'm curious what you think would have been different given the concerted strategy to neutralize them in 2015: the quick passing game. Why would the d-line, under any circumstances, been more effective, regardless of the coordinator? I think you and I are simpatico, however, on the impact of Spikes' departure, something that gets overlooked A LOT by Rex's most ardent critics.
-
Agree with all of this.
-
The point was that the loss fell squarely on the offense. Failing to get a first down on 7 of your first 10 drives (which took them throug the third quarter) is a pretty clear illustration for how bad they were. Nobody is saying it's all TT's fault, but that kinda of abysmal offensive performance falls disproportionately at your QBs feet. This trend would continue the following week in Tennessee, then again at home against Cincy and then it completely hit the fan in London. That was a bad bad bad three game stretch for the offense. Through all the insufferable belly aching about the defense, this FACT gets largely glossed over.
-
What's your excuse? Also, this stalker routine gets old. I've never seen someone hound so many strangers on the internet over protracted periods of time, pestering them incessantly over things that were said YEARS in the past.
-
yes, completely serious. and on the flip side, i've heard many people go out of their way to say that wilson's "size" is very deceiving, that he's built like a fire hydrant. Nobody wants the Bills QB to be a physical stud more than fans like me!
