Well, they could be, except for one problem: Denver wins, Buffalo doesn't.
Ah ha! The dreams of Bills fans, quick! shoot them down! now!
-
Try calling for an angel food cake when you really, really need an airstrike !
Pilots ahve to fly to maintain their skill - so, they could fly out over the middle of the Nevada desert where no one can see them - or in front of a really big crowd of appreciative taxpayers.
They are going to fly anyway !
haha best point so far!
and for the record I don't really hate on air shows as much as this debate might suggest. I just found myself in defense mode...
but seriously, they're dangerous and loud!
-
What a bunch of kill joy's. I suppose you think birthday cake is a waste of flour as well !
that depends on how old you're turning
mind you, flour, unlike fueling a jet, doesn't cost over a $1000.
-
So are F-15's and F-16's - it just depends on what you need
so the American people need to be deafened/wowed by priceless, highly volatile air craft?
I understand the need for combat, but we're talking about flying around in circles so a bunch of half-drunk people in lawn chairs can say, "ooooooo."

I can't wait to see the board crash when Marv picks someone completely unexpected.
haha TBD traditionalist are going to crap themselves...they think there's been a nauseating influx of new posters during the off-season, just wait till Marv K's us all with an 0-2 screw ball!
-
I'm with you on that, StickyBoots. I respect the pilots and all, but it is a wast of money, too freakin' loud and dangerous as well. (Especially when they used to buzz downtown San Francisco for two days.)
With that said, it's fairly cool to watch.
again, I appreciate support from a vet. I didn't even take into account the danger...planes don't kill people...air shows kill people!
-
Geez LabattBlue.....between your avatar and wallbashing, you're a prime candidate for a concussion. Put on a helmet for cripes sake.
haha I was just about to write something along the exact same lines...lighten up, buddy.

I feel the same way about those damned Zoot Suiters.
shiny shoed, feather in their caps bastards
-
Hippies. I hate hippies. They weren't trying to save the world.. they were trying to get high & get laid..
and that's cool.. those are two of my favorite things..
but their "I'm better than you" attitude makes me sick.
are we talking no baths and phish tours (not concerts, tours)?
or people who prefer peace to violence and have an intellectual platform to support it?

After a long hiatus, I, Puhonix, return to my home away from sanity. So, after football season, what've I missed?
there are young people on the internet...and they have opinions!

There are more planes in the ocean than submarines in the sky
I like that. Am I the only person who thinks the Blue Angels and air-shows in general are a collosal waste of gas and money? Does the world really need more noise pollution? Not that airplanes aren't really cool, and fast, and ultima-killing machines and all...

Look at the LB the Texans had Demeco Ryans.....he was beast and a MAJOR leader on that defense of the Texans. Granted they were so so on defense, but none the less, was a major leader. I also believe he called signals for them........
I often wondered about this guy? Was he a I-get-1000-tackles-9-yards-from-scrimmage kinda guy or was he legit? Never watched him much

The Anti-Bush people. Get over yourselves! You can yell all you want, but until you have actual PROOF that the man has done all the things you people say he's done, SHUT THE
UP!!!!!
oh boy.
please read a newspaper.

What about a team like the Toronto Maple Leafs? The very definition of mediocre, yet they sell out every game, every night, year after year on the promise of hope.
Why can't the Bills have fans like that??
seriously?
Why can't a sports team generate as much community passion as A HOCKEY TEAM IN THE LARGEST CITY IN CANADA?
-
If Spikes recovery has progressed enough, I think you are right. The Bills should know that soon.
They'll still probably want to draft for depth and the near future. I wouldn't count Willis out yet.
but we're talking depth vs neccesity and I think RB is a greater NEED...may be?
could Fred Jackson be as important to hisunit as Crowell/Ellison/Youboty are to theirs?
who really knows where the need is anymore!!

Anyone who is currently (or has recently been) on the Daily Show and isn't John Stewart or John Oliver.
I want to kill slap Samantha Bee and Rob Courdry made me crap myself when I saw his show on Fox and found out he could be less funny.
Needless to say, the true losers in all of this were my underpants and chair.

Jus the doc here "keeping it real"
Let me see if I understand you...
You'd love to see a soon to be 34 year old running back, that's played 15 games in the past 2 seasons, in a Bills uni? Do you just want him to play "dress up" with you, or actually suit up to play?
Dude... I hear Thurman Thomas aint too busy... why not him?
God... like I said before. There ought to be an age or IQ minimum to post on this board. Thank God today's the last day of spring break. I don't know if I could take one more post from a 2nd grader.
No need.

Watching NFL net. Priest Holmes returning to the Chiefs backfield this year? Anyone up on his situation, injuries, contract ect.
I could see him in a Bills uni. if he's healthy and he could come cheap.
Whats the word?
NO NO NO
I for one am very opposed to finding your RB in FA. Someone posted a good article that was written after the WM deal about how quickly RB's become damaged goods and I agree 100%. They have too short of a shelf life.

Most Interception Yards Gained, Game
177 Charlie McNeil, San Diego vs. Houston, Sept. 24, 1961
170 Louis Oliver, Miami vs. Buffalo, Oct. 4, 1992
167 Dick Jauron, Detroit vs. Chicago, Nov. 18, 1973
Does anyone here remember watching Jauron play?
I was too young-though I know he went to at least one pro bowl. Every time I find out something new about DJ I like him more and more!
